All his life, Beppi was told that he was going to die. But that is not stopping him from enjoying what he loves most: his friends, school and peanut butter sandwiches. By treating each day as his last, he thought it would be less painful to know about his terminal condition. When the famous performers called the Taronga Troops came to town, Beppi would do anything to reunite with his long-lost family. However, a dark secret not even Beppi knew could strain the relationship he would once dreamed of. Between school and family, on top of his incurable disease, the young Tasmanian devil will have to find a way to make them smile, even if it will cost him his own life.

Let's face it we all need to support each other in this world we are living in, sure I have a mental illness and learning disability but this does not make me stupid weak and pathetic. I have been told time and time again I am a kind and considerate person when I know a good cause when I see it and will promote the work the company does. Whether it is a business firm or a charity. Nothing has ever been handed to me, and nor have I asked for anything. In fact, I have been abused in every form for everything that was wrong with the world. But this does not stop me from trying to help whether it is through assistance in promoting a charity, or a small donation I will do it.

Happy Veteran's Day. Today is a day of remembrance. Remembering those who fight constantly, daily, and give their all for us. We all our grateful for what you've done for us. And I can't wait for you to come home. You've served for ten plus years and you've been deployed out again. And I don't know when I'll see you next. All I do know is that you are forever with me and on my mind. I love you everyday and I'll continue to love you forever. There's no way I could make it without you here with me. This is a short story, I wanted to do, based of something that's happened to me. Read and Find Out, but also make sure to leave a comment about your special. Veteran's day wishes and moments.

The year is 2019. The Watchers maintain a state of constant surveillance: guns are outlawed, media is censored, and unmanned drones patrol the skies. Derrion Parsing is a high school senior and the son of an ex-Army Ranger. Unlike his classmates, he has access to information from the time before the Invisible War, when the government shut down the Internet, reformatting into a propaganda tool. When Derrion attempts to use this information as part of a school project, he awakens to his worst nightmare.

At the turn of the last century, a brass quintet, under the leadership of Arthur White, gets ready for a full schedule of Christmas performances in Indianapolis, Indiana. Second trumpet player, Frank Conner, suggests a free Saturday afternoon performance at the Central State Hospital as a gesture of goodwill and cheer to the patients and staff. The others are adamant in refusing to do this. Frank's wife pushes him to set the date anyway, which he does. Arthur is furious. At the performance, the patients are wild with enthusiasm hearing the Christmas songs. As many are Civil War veterans, the quintet plays Civil War tunes that brings old memories back. After the performance, Arthur White is given a medal from a Colonel William Adams. This medal would have been given to a private running reconnaissance. However, he was killed in battle. Arthur is conflicted as he had dodged the war to stay in law school. But his heart melts, and he accepts the medal.
