After Venetia Quinn was kicked out of her foster home for another, she ends up in a mental hospital. Wanting to get out, she finds out her new foster mom was her nurse. At home she needs a baby sitter because of her Bipolar disorder. The babysitter brings her grandson for Venetia's company, but he puts her life in danger by triggering long forgotten memories.Having suspicions, the babysitter tries over and over to destroy Ven's life. In order to live, Venetia has to visit a place where she once swore she'd never step foot ever again. Will Venetia face her hugest fear...or take her own life?

Kellin is a new addition to one of the cities oldest orphanages and Vic doesn't trust anyone who walks inside. After the two have both suffered harsh pasts, is there anything that can bring them together? Where usually either school or home are one's safe haven from the other, he can never seem to escape the abuse from either place. There's no time for friends with all his baggage. Even the idea is simply too much pressure. The new face, Vic, is almost comical for believing he can get Kellin to open up. Can he save him? Or should he just focus on saving himself first?
