A rewrite of Tim Burton's Corpse Bride in Romeo and Juliet. Victor Van Dort and Victoria Everglot's families have arranged their marriage. Though they like each other, Victor is nervous about the ceremony. While he's in a forest practicing his lines for the wedding, a tree branch becomes a hand that drags him to the land of the dead. It belongs to Emily, an Everglot ancestor who was murdered after eloping with her love and wants to marry Victor. Victor also discovers a forgotten feud between his and Emily's families that dates back generations and could affect his relationship with Emily. When he is punished for a crime he didn't commit, he must get back underground before Emily is arranged to marry Lord Barkis Bittern. Can he do it in time, and will his feelings for Emily affect his marriage to Victoria?

This is just a list of the theories, headcanons, and ideas I came up with for Tim Burton's Corpse Bride. I might add more later on, so watch out. I also want to thank a good friend of mine for quite a few great ideas
