It only takes a short conversation for Rose to figure out their situations aren't just similar; they have a detail named Frank in common: Mr. Walker's former fiancée is going to marry the new Duke of Windham. The two wind up in several hilarious escapades as they try to help each other finish the things on their lists to spite the people who hurt them, while also trying not to get themselves into a romantic entanglement with each other. But when Mr. Walker's list is finished, will that put an end to their burgeoning friendship? Or have they stumbled upon something neither thought possible?

Unfortunately her days of breaking into places are not over yet. This story takes part in the ONC 2020 using prompt 8. (although I am not quite sure I am using it enough. I'm mainly using the part of the secret identity and sort of the damsel in distress part) I hope the few people that read this like it!

Her life is put at risk many times, she's died many times and awoken in another place. Cordelia is stuck in the same loop she's slowly starting to hate. Will she complete her family's wishes and restore the peace between the two with the help of her friends or will she give up the task and let the Clairvoyants destroy the remaining sides of the already broken royal lineage?

Ileana is smitten by his intelligence and rough exterior. He, however, has no idea the lovely young lady is the crowned princess. Their love could prove problematic, especially considering he is caught with an arsenal powerful enough to blow up London and called a traitor to the crown. Whether he was set up or guilty is something Ileana must decide for herself before the coup to take over the crown throws England into a Steam-powered civil war.

Just a short story I wrote for fun the other day as a tribute to one of my favourite things in the world (and I think a lot of you writers out there will agree): sharp pencils. :D Now, the connection between such an ominous title and the mundane writing utensil we know and often don't appreciate enough thou wilt have to find out for thyself. Or don't. You could do either. =) Okay, for real though, my intention was to write a story that was as suspenseful as possible even though the main topic is something that one may consider quite unordinary.
