Adelaide 'Ada' Woodhouse is in love. Her studies at the University of London have come to an end and she begins to work at the British Museum, honing her research and literary skills in the archives department, while still refusing to venture into the detective career. In love more than ever with her 'useless' Earl of Nottingham Louis Hatton, the Woodhouses face the prospect of Adelaide becoming "affianced" before the social season comes to an end. Her brothers, Dr Theodore and Emerson Woodhouse do what they can to scare Louis off, but find matters of the heart are complicated indeed when old faces shake up their own relationships. But, soon arrives a request from Windsor Castle - for Adelaide? People - from footmen and maids - are dropping dead mysteriously at the royal court. Queen Victoria is depressed, in mourning and afraid as court politics and intrigue have everyone a suspect. Isolated and alone with very few friends and trustees, the Queen needs Adelaide - but she is adamant she is not a detective. Yet curiosity gets the better of her, and a simple piece of advice turns into a full-blown unofficial investigation that puts Adelaide behind bars on crimes of attempted regicide while a scandalous society paper makes the rounds sending Theodore and Emerson on the warpath as the Woodhouse reputation once again, finds itself in jeopardy. During the peak of another social season, lives are changing everywhere - some for the better and others for the worse. As she fights her innocence (again), Adelaide finds that what the heart wants, the heart will do everything in its power to get, even if it means taking others down too. He was never meant to love her. She was never meant to survive him. ☾༺♰༻☽ Adelise has always been an outcast, scorned for her auburn hair and the curse it represents to the superstitious folk. When she crosses paths with Ares, a vampire who has spent half a century locked in solitude, she becomes entangled in a dangerous fate that neither of them can escape. Ares has vowed never to trust a human again, but something about Adelise threatens to unravel everything he thought he knew. At the heart of their story lies an ancient relic, a time puzzle crafted from shattered mirrors and forbidden magic. It does not merely reflect the past, it bends it, distorts it, and opens a doorway to a future neither of them expected. Across fractured timelines, their lives intertwine in ways they cannot fully understand, bound by love, fate, and the secrets the puzzle refuses to reveal all at once. A dark, gothic romance novella filled with longing, betrayal, and second chances, Black Roses on Her Grave poses the reader with one question: If you could change fate, would you? ☾༺♰༻☽ Ranked #1 in Vampire Romance (Jan 2026) Ranked #1 in Gothic Romance (Jan 2026)

When an impoverished young lady by the name of Evelyn Adeliade Howard is taken on tour by her upper-class relatives, her satirical sense of humour and disdain for propriety lead to the writing of astonishingly catty letters to her mother and sister at home. As she explores the outer world of balls and engagements, secrets and performances, she is both punished and uplifted for her free spirit and naiveté. Set in 18th century Europe, 'With Much Love' explores a simple-minded country girl's growth into a woman who knows all the dangers of falling prey to the vultures of the outside world. In a society that revolves around champagne, roses and false vows, Evelyn must learn to forge her own path-be it in acceptance or rejection of her family's blasphemous deeds.

I was a witch. It was hard to grasp. Though, I think somewhere, hidden away in a dark room, I knew. I knew there was something different about me. I could come up with an inventive solution better than anyone else could. I could memorize vast amounts of information by barely reading the page. Flowers never wilted in my presence. I fell - a lot - and always remained unscathed. I always knew where things were even if I'd never seen the place, and I'd never burned food in my life, even if I left it on the stove for 10 minutes too long. I sat there in silence as the puzzle pieces of my life clicked together one by one.

The Gardener's Legacy By S.M. Roberts In the village of Taplow, gardens thrive under gentle hands and old traditions. For Charles Jaycock, tending the earth is more than work - it is a way of life passed down from his beloved father. Quiet, steady, and content, Charles has never imagined anything beyond the familiar lanes and flowering rows. Until Lydia Hargrave arrives. A headstrong daughter of privilege, Lydia is everything Taplow distrusts. Yet between her and Charles, something takes root - something that threatens to upend generations of silence and simplicity. As whispers turn to judgment, and duty battles desire, Charles and Lydia face impossible choices. To stay or to leave. To follow love or legacy. And when ambition leads them far from home, they must decide if true belonging is found in new beginnings... or in the deep, unshakable roots left behind. A sweeping and emotional story of love, loss, and finding your place between tradition and change, The Gardener's Legacy is a timeless novel that will stay with you long after the last page - leaving you to wonder, when everything grows and shifts... what will remain?

❝ If you look in your dictionary you will find: Titans - A race of people vainly striving to overcome the forces of nature. Could anything be more unfortunate than such a name, anything more significant? ❞ - Arthur Rostron, Captain of the rescue ship Carpathia. ── ⠀⠀ ── ⠀⠀ ── ⠀⠀ ── ⠀⠀ ── ⠀⠀ ── 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐂, the most famous maritime vessel to ever grace the Atlantic Ocean. She was allegedly proclaimed to be "almost unsinkable", and touted as the greatest innovation of the Edwardian Age. To this day, her story - passed down for generations - serves as a cautionary tale in various fashions. When one considers the matter of maritime disasters, the sinking of the RMS Titanic is the first to escape their lips. But will we ever really know what precisely occurred on that tragic night? The answer to such a question is, unfortunately, no - but that does not mean that speculation cannot occur. Published here for the first time at long last is a series of vignettes offering glimpses into the Titanic's birth, life, and death. Told through the perspectives of some of the most famous individuals aboard this notorious ship, these vignettes were penned with the intention of conceptualizing a plausible definition of the specifics which will forever remain unknown. It is my hope that these vignettes will bring their subjects back to life through the written word, and render them human to us once more. ── ⠀⠀ ── ⠀⠀ ── ⠀⠀ ── ⠀⠀ ── ⠀⠀ ── Please note that several pieces of writing within this book are compliant with or contain elements of the canonical storyline for James Cameron's 1997 Titanic.
