Skyla Naydeen was just a typical 16 year old girl, she attended a regular high school and was a spectacular student. One night, she attended the Hollywood Arts showcase to watch the amazing talents of the school, only to find out that one of the acts lost their voice and couldn't perform. She knew this person was her, now ex, friend, Nadia Schitt. She rushed to the stage to make sure Nadia was okay, when she was approached by the staff of Hollywood Arts to take Nadia's place. Nadia was a singer/songwriter/rapper. Skyla sang in her free time but never publicly. Reluctantly, she accepted to take Nadia's place to sing Nadia's original song. Skyla killed it! The principal of Hollywood Arts, Helen, offered for Skyla to attend Hollywood Arts after the performance. Skyla accepted.
