After their Aunt makes the decision to place their father in a group-home, she suggests for Winter Quinn to take her younger siblings on a road trip while they make the move for him, but this road-trip never ends - instead, Winter and her siblings (along with a friend) find themselves in an inescapable town and Winter needs to come to terms with the fact that there are some things she can't protect her family from and that maybe, sometimes, she could let others care for her too.
