Katniss Everdeen, Victor of the 74th Annual Hunger Games, The Warrior of The Capitol. Or so everyone thought. Her victory could lead to the uprising of Panem. Everything depended on her. Until he came, The Capitol Boy.

Have you ever wondered what would have happened if Katniss Everdeen didn't go to save Peeta Mellark right away? Or what would have happened to Panem if Katniss hadn't become the Mockingjay? What if Katniss ended up with Gale? The possibilities of how the story could have went are endless. I've questioned the events in "The Hunger Games" Triology, and this is my take on how a small shift of events can affect Panem's future forever.

"Let the 50th Hunger Games begin!" Katniss Everdeen wasn't chosen for the 50th Hunger Games. Her sister was. "The nightmares never go away." Watching 47 die does leave an imprint. "The Victor of the 50th Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen of District 12." One that never goes away.

Ever wondered what happened to Katniss and Peeta once they returned to 12? Well, I'm going to put my spin on what I think would've happened as their relationship progressed - the ups and downs, the laughs and cries... and of course Haymitch will be there too :) Hopefully you'll like my first fanfic! The Capitol rose up from scorched ashes, just as the districts had years and years before, lead by President Coriolanus Snow's granddaughter, Evelyn Snow. Ever since she'd watched her grandfather executed by Katniss Everdeen, her love towards her had twisted and changed. That love, is now a deep hatred. After all, he was all she had. Once she'd lead her army of peacekeepers into the unsuspecting districts, she had only to say the word. Katniss Everdeen was hung publicly while her remaining family; her mother, Peeta Mellark and her two children, were shot instantly before her own eyes. Now, as Evelyn Snow gained control over the country of Panem, and the Capitol was glorious in victory once more, with a wide grin from ear to ear upon her face, she declared she'd reinstate something horrible. Welcome, to the second generation of The Hunger Games!

The rebellion failed and the games continued. The reformation games which took place in 88 took out almost all the victors, including Katniss and Peeta. But they had a child. Artemis Everdeen had no interest in leading any rebellion or anything, she only wanted to live her life in District 12 but the 100th hunger games and the fourth quarter quell changed that. May the odds be in your favor!

The war is over, but the battle is still being fought. The Dark Days of Panem are over but nothing is looking brighter. The Capitol has just squelched the fires of the rebellion and ended the war. President Dane has announced the Hunger Games; his solution to keeping the districts in line and Aldera Clearwater is District 11's tribute. She must travel to the Capitol with 23 other inexperienced tributes to train for their fight to the death in The First Annual Hunger Games. *The idea of the Hunger Games belongs to Suzanne Collins, but all characters, plots, and other attributes of this story belong to me.*

Sequel to 'Words Cut Deeper Than Knives' After winning the games you would think they could just let you live in peace. That's what we are told, but that's a lie. If Snow wants you dead he will do whatever it takes to kill you. He will go to great lengths to get what he wants. He revels in others pain. We're going to make him pay. No matter how long it takes we will win. We will beat him once and for all. For Rue and her mockingjay song. I'll show Katniss she gave her pin to the right girl.
