Every year, the tributes fight in the Hunger Games arenas. Every year, the citizens of Panem and the Capital watch. And every year, the mentors have to watch from the mentors room, famed Victors themselves, and almost entirely unable to bring home another Victor. Nobody's ever said that a Victor's life got easier after the games ended.

It's unheard of in the capitol, but the reality of Annie Cresta and Finnick Odair. The start, the end, and everything in between. Ever wondered what happened to Katniss and Peeta once they returned to 12? Well, I'm going to put my spin on what I think would've happened as their relationship progressed - the ups and downs, the laughs and cries... and of course Haymitch will be there too :) Hopefully you'll like my first fanfic! She was brought up in a completely different enviroment than most kids in Panem. She knew nothing really of how life had been for the past hundred years, but she knew about everything else. Her parents raised her on stories, history, and songs all from a very mysterious Vault that was hidden away. Maeve has done things too dispicable for her to even want to remember. She tries to hide her feelings, her memories, and her secrets from herself. She should have known that she'd be forced to face them all again when she gets sent to District Twelve to become the Recreational Teacher. She would have been fine, had Lilly Everdeen never showed up in her class room. Now Maeve's past is brought to the light as she tries to peice everything together. How is she supposed to explain what she's done if she herself can't remember? This is my first Hunger Games Fanfiction and I hope you enjoy it.

Albany Rosewood won the 60th Hunger Games at age 15. She trained for ten years for the Games, and then she volunteered. She survived the brutal Hunger Games, and then returned home a glorified victor. She was praised and admired by all. Now, two years later, Albany has nightmares every night, and she wakes up screaming. The Games have scarred her, and to make matters worse, she now has to become a mentor. She has to mentor one young man and woman. Albany must give them as much advice as she can, or else they won't survive. She is their last hope, and if she fails, so do they.

As President Hibernia Snow opens the envelope with the golden numbers 200, she grins widely. "To remind the Districts that repetition of history is to be feared, the Capitol will host a second Ultimate Games, for the 200th anniversary of the district rebellion." This story is HEAVILY based on @MadeInWicklow 's stories 'The ultimate games' and 'Dependence', and you should definitely go check them out. It's my view on how his story could have continued. (Although I don't even really use his characters, it takes place in his universe) The original concept for the Hunger Games of course belongs to Suzanne Collins and her books, and the idea for the Ultimate Games, as well as the 125th Hunger Games (which is mentioned very briefly in chapter one) belong to @MadeInWicklow

President Snow announces that the male and female tributes for the Quarter Quell are to be reaped on the existing pool of victors--that means Katniss and Peeta are being thrown back in the Games. Great! But the catch is that it doesn't just stop there. While Katniss and Peeta are fighting to save each other, a twist is called to the Quell. Now something stands in their way. The gamemakers are finally going to put Katniss and Peeta's love to the test to find out how far love is willing to go before it brakes. Lyric Lust has gone through a lot being the mayors daughter she was subjected to having almost no friends except for Pranet Jolt the son of the deceased dead capitol singer, Mercury Jolt, both never thought they'd be in the Hunger Games but the odds weren't in their favor. Just before the games Lyric falls for their mentor, Thayer, but with the games coming it doesn't seem promising in her eyes. Pranet and Lyric are thrown into the games that bring up feelings they've had since they were young and had been forgotten along with most of their friendship. Feelings make it hard when your in the games and only one can survive.
