Okay, so here's my teen!lock story! (As I promised.) You need to know that THIS is my FIRST STORY - and not my oneshot book one. I wrote this last year during the Advent season and this story kind of grew to my heart since this is the first (and unfortunately for now my only) finished story. About the content... Well... As the Second World War engulfs Europe, Sherlock is sent to take refuge in an American boarding school with the hopes that the war does not touch him across the seas. He's exposed to an entirely different lifestyle of sports and teenage rebellion, strung about by his new group of friends. Though as the war looms like a shadow over the carefree school, it risks taking both his friends and his lovers in its wake, and send them off to the very fate Sherlock had been wishing to avoid. And hidden in the mix there is a criminal, or at least there is a crime. Assigned to such a conundrum is the new Detective John Watson, where it is his job to discover if the disappearances of men from about the city are acts of passion, acts of violence, or merely acts of defeat. Sherlock has only ever led a life of luxury, finding that as as he got older the fallacy of being normal was beginning to weigh on him. He didn't fit into the common mold of a rich man, and when it comes time for him to marry, that becomes increasingly obvious. Victor was just lucky to be alive, much less be living in the Holmes manor. His only friend had always been his only secret, and as a servant he had begun to feel special to his master's heart. As Victor meets and quickly falls in love with the strange and cryptic Sherlock Holmes, he grapples with the distance between himself and John Watson- eventually sending an invitation for the summer. Little does Victor know, the summer is not big enough to hold both his romance and his friendship, especially when the trio decides to investigate a mysterious house that seemed to have been calling them all along.

This is the story of how they met. Sherlock Holmes, world's only consulting detective, but he wasn't that always. To become what the world now know of him, he first needed a reason.
