This story involves a family of six with the father stationed in Vietnam in the US Air Force. It is the early 1970's and Vietnam War protesting is rampant on television and in schools. The story follows closely how this family dealt with the hazards facing the father as well as the hatred of those protesting stateside. This story is set during the Vietnam War in the 1960s and follows the story of a young girl named Huong and what life was like for a young girl in the war.
