Tree of Fate Author: Hu Zhenggen Preface What I'm going to write is the story of Dongtao Mountain. Dongtao Mountain has many beautiful scenic spots and myths and legends about these spots. I want to share these scenic spots and the legends with everyone. In my memory, Dongtao Mountain was incredibly beautiful. There were mountains, flowing water, gentle breezes, bright moonlight, white clouds, morning dew, and eagles and pheasants soaring in the sky. Village women's shouts to chase the pheasants were rhythmically rising and falling in the air like an endless song. Looking around, everywhere was green mountains and clear waters. On both sides of the road were towering trees, blocking the sky and hiding countless bird calls, pine waves, and spring songs. On the field ridges, in the thorny bushes, one could find bird nests and bird eggs. In one summer, I could collect dozens of bird nests. This is definitely not something from a fairy tale world. This is my hometown -Dongtao Mountain. The story is based on the fate of the tree in the Dongtao Mountain forest farm and the village of Zengjia Dong in the mountains below. It follows the love story of forest ranger Chen Zhiwu and Zeng Xiaoxin, interspersed with the different endings of three girls named Zeng Shanying, Zeng Hongyu, and Zeng Juhua, as well as the joys and sorrows of the people of Dongtao Mountain. It interprets the different destinies of people in different eras and regions, and contemplates how rural areas can be revitalized. How should we protect our own homeland in the face of the development of the times?

This story has 2 major twists in it. There was a family who got a letter from someone mysterious that day. They followed their lead and it led to serious trouble.

The Bite Me series has been a tremendous experience for me and I am grateful to all of you who have read and participated in the many discussions. That has been the place I park those random things I observe, or situations I have lived through - even my views on varied topics. This however is your space. This is where I will write something and want some challenge see? Rarely do I receive anything but praise. So this second Bite Me series is where YOU get to bite back! I want discussion, but I also want differing viewpoints, I want to hear you smack me around the head a bit and challenge whatever I propose. That's the theory at least!
