We can get better shit with the money, so be careful and all that." Tubbo said quietly, Tommy almost not hearing but smiling reassuringly at his Best Friends, not at all what he felt inside. 'Of I go, into the Dragons den.' Tommy thought as he got to the door having a name tag saying Sleepy Bois internship. Tommy took one breath in and opened the door. Or, Tommy, Ranboo and Tubbo are vigilantes, trying to get jobs at The Hero Tower. What will happen? WIll the great heroes understand who they are? May be trigger-warnings, I will not put trigger-warnings in the chapters, like when they curse, because then it's in every chapter and I would like to use my time to write the real thing rather than the same trigger-warning the whole book. (yes he's a blade apologist) - this may have dark scenes and its obviously gonna have (badly written) fight scenes. sorry i cant picture fight scenes o k a y. anyways, TW for blood, gore(possible), fight scenes, swearing (i mean, this is dsmp guys-) and anything else i'm forgetting will be added - see ya!

this story is inspired by all the people who made a story like this... its my Idea. Tommy lives a double life. He lives a normal life with his Roomates.He has a Job at a Cafe. Oh. Wait. He has secrets. It's not normal when he runs away at night from heroes and always stops crimes. He is a vigilante Ranboo goes to school and help often Tommy to escape and no one knows about him. Tubbo is always home. He is always the one who is at the Laptop and Hacks and help Tommy with the escape Route. but what happens when a few Heroes have interests in them?

Tommy, after leaving work is given a book and witnesses a fight between a villain named Mage and two heroes named Anaglyph and Warden. 2 years later, he starts learning magic, with Mage training him to become the new Tome user. Tommy must choose himself if he wishes to become a hero or a villain and chooses to become a vigilante to start off with. But meet a missing hero and his friend, he uncovers secrets about the heroes that he never knew. Tommy can use this to his advantage, hold it over the heroes heads and threaten to release everything. Can Tommy live in a world of superpower and people who've been in the industry longer than he has? With only magic? Words - 80,944 Chapters - 32/?? Note: writing will be all over the place as i'm still trying to stay to a plot line. It'll make zero sense btw. And near the end it starts moving slower since i've kinda lost motivation. Probably because i winged most of it and didn't make a script. Some characters personalities will be OOC as I didn't look into their personalities until halfway through the story T-T Many plot holes where i forget about something and contradict it at a later chapter.

Originally named "How I Wish It Would End." But when I made that name I didn't know where I was taking the story yet. By the way, the title is pronounced "mono-cop-sus." (: Edit: As of March 12th, 2022 I've added an editor to the Ao3 version of this fic, so there WILL be differences to dialogue, but no lore differences. I also changed the chapter titles, an example is Chapter 1 Pt. 1 and Chapter 1 Pt. 2 due to the chapters being combined on Ao3, but not here. ALSO ALSO, my writing is rlly shitty in the early chapters, I promise it gets better. Edit 2: As of November 18th, 2022 I'm gonna continue writing but if things don't make sense it's because it was retconned and will be changed/edited out of older chapters after I finish this fic. So, the fic is being edited and not set in stone. Edit 3: I'm making this on January 10th, 2025, so this is probably apparent, but I doubt I'll ever finish this fic.
