Ki Centauri is a man with many faces. The life of a military peacekeeper is not a kind one, and the people he's lost are nearly as numerous as the ones he knows. Time and time again, lives slip through his fingers, and all he is left with is the black skies of people now gone. Yet human beings cannot live without connections. Somehow, there must be a way to find friends beyond the limitations of Crest and Clan and forge connections that last and truly matter. But is the pain of finding love in an often bleak and broken world worth the cost of of threading a family across the stars? Everyday Stories is a series of 30 short stories inspired by 30 strangers' photographs and written in 30 days. This collection was written in November, 2013, one photo each day. A story of a moment and a ballroom

This is actually a vignette I wrote for my language arts class. For those of you who don't know what a vignette is, google describes it as a brief evocative description, account, or episode. My family seemed to really like this one so I thought I would share! If you like it, please comment why you do. If you don't, I would really appreciate being told why (in a nice way). I hope y'all enjoy it!!

In 2014 I accepted a friend's challenge to start the day with 10 minutes of writing on a random topic. I was given a keyword and 10 minutes. A few of the keywords created some fun scenes. Others were a struggle. I did them all. I've thought about reviewing these exercises and seeing if any of them were worth pursuing. Enter Wattpad. What a fun way to just through some stuff to the wall and see what sticks. I'll post them here. Maybe something will create enough interest to continue... I'll expand some of them based on feedback. ...and... go!
