Lucy cannot explain what drew her over to these five, what made this halfling girl stand out in the cafeteria like a perfect snowflake amongst sleet, but she trusts it was divine intervention. This is a story that is told in vignettes; small little stories that can be either heartbreaking or joyous and have little connection to each other. Each vignettes is a memory of a girl as she loops her way around her different "lives" as she grows up in a abusive household and foster care. Listen to how this young girl deals with a mom who has delusions and bipolar.
