Ciao!~ Avi here- I've been getting more into writing vignettes for a while now (not even sure if it's the correct word for what I've turned it into) but at some point I did a challenge. I decided to write one a day for a month with a time limit of thirty minutes. Here is the result of that. I may also add a few more, not tied to the challenge. These vignettes were a way for me to write out ideas and flesh them out a bit as time passed, so please enjoy! If you see a signature on any of the pictures (other than XIX) that would be my moms signature. She was actually the one to convince me to do this vignette challenge. She made all the pictures for the [DxA] section, so thanks to her! The [DxA] section is all from the challenge. Any further vignettes are not correlated to the challenge. ([DxD] is included in the challenge.)

A series of vignettes make up this novel about a young woman involved in an automobile accident one afternoon on a desolate stretch of highway somewhere in the San Joaquin Valley. Ejected from the car upon impact, she lands on the gravel shoulder right alongside the debris stream of papers, bottles, and fast food wrappers. She finds herself in and out of consciousness and through a sequence of flash backs; moments from her life occupy her thoughts as she struggles to understand what has just happened to her. Broken dreams and disappointments scatter themselves across her mental landscape as family, friends, and strangers are all recalled in a myriad of settings and situations involved. Confused and often alone in her memories, she attempts to navigate and understand an environment she is not fully capable of doing. All her life, she seeks to belong but always finds herself in a different space, perhaps a no space of sorts while those around her go through the repetitions of daily life. Never taken into account, never considered, and never celebrated; she questions where she belongs in the world and in the end she realizes that she never really belonged anywhere at all.

A short poem story--or rather, a series of vignettes, but whatever--I wrote for school. Not perfect, but if it was perfect it'd be in print. This is Wattpad. Imperfection abounds. So I'm not going to worry about it. It's not like I'm trying to publish a novel. This is a story about a girl, whose parents are divorced, and who just wants to hang out with her dad. Really bad summary, but that's what I came up with.

This is a story that is told in vignettes; small little stories that can be either heartbreaking or joyous and have little connection to each other. Each vignettes is a memory of a girl as she loops her way around her different "lives" as she grows up in a abusive household and foster care. Listen to how this young girl deals with a mom who has delusions and bipolar.

Short vignettes, stories really but shorter than most stories. Some of these are prose poetry, others a tad more narrative stylistically, but in any event they are snippets of life, told in fragments of under 600 words (with very few exceptions).

Skyscrapers tower up around me. The light dusting of snow swirls on the ground and around my boots. People mill around--all on a different path. Some perhaps, are Christmas shopping. I, however, am just walking. Admiring the city decorations. A collection of ten vignettes featuring Zayn Malik.

Please note that some of these stories are going to be dark and gruesome. There will be a sign (A capital D) after the title of each chapter for those that are dark, and a sign (a Capital G) for Gruesome. Do NOT read these stories if you have a light stomach, we come up with crazy disgusting stuff. We have poems in here written by our friend at school Ro! We love having another source of imagination! Not all of the stories will be like that. Don't worry, we are not dark people...we just read some crazy books, and come up with some crazy scary ideas :) We will basically be writing short things about whatever we feel like writing about. Nothing will be inappropriate or have bad words. Some things will be shorter than others, some will be longer. Two people share this account, whenever we comment on something or write anything, we will put either A or M. Enjoy, and please comment and star if you like something.
