The chapters may be out of order timeline-wise as I write them as I think of them, but the published book will have them in order.

Short vignettes, stories really but shorter than most stories. Some of these are prose poetry, others a tad more narrative stylistically, but in any event they are snippets of life, told in fragments of under 600 words (with very few exceptions).

Dani was raised in an abusive home. Nicky was an accident child born in a whore-house. Greg was an orphan brought up without a family. When the three unlikely friends meet by chance, they team up to correct their wrongs.

After Ashely dies suddenly, her friends and family try to move on, but death is only the beginning of their troubles. A thematic mood piece relying on a series of short vignettes to drag the reader down with the characters.

Words are powerful. They fill my mind, my soul, and my very existence. Sometimes words follow me, looming in my shadow, peering around the corner. The words that fill this book are just the dictionary mixed up and out of order, but they mean something. These are vignettes, poems, and stories of me, and who I am.

Even after I rebuilt my wall, there are cracks that the darkness probes through. Usually it tries to conquer me at night, but it's always unexpected. But let the demons know, I am aware, and I shall always find my heaven in their hell.

I find it easier to write in these little vignettes; if I try to get any more heavy, I find myself out of my league.
