A super short story. It takes place in a moment in the future...

This is a compilation of sassy, sarcastic vignettes (short descriptive scenes or stories) about life in general told from the perspective of a teenage girl.

Are we all connected? Are destinies intertwined thickly in a giant knot we call life? Perhaps. Lets unravel one end of the string of fate and see where it leads us. For an eternal being like Death there can't be anything surprising: he's seen all their tricks. The nature of a human being won't change for a hundred years. Unchanging, but maybe, maybe interesting.

A collection of vignettes describing words without using the words themselves. Rather than using the chosen words as titles, I've placed them beneath the vignettes.

Lucy cannot explain what drew her over to these five, what made this halfling girl stand out in the cafeteria like a perfect snowflake amongst sleet, but she trusts it was divine intervention. Kipperlilly extends her hand to Lucy. "Welcome to the High 5 Heroes, Lucy." "High 5 Heroes." Lucy shakes Kipperlilly's hand. "I like that name." For a reason she can't explain, part of Lucy doesn't want to let go. (Or: Lucy Frostblade and Kipperlilly Copperkettle. Two lives that twine through time.)
