A series of vignettes from a girl surviving high school life. My points of view and writing techniques have led me to write vignettes rather than long fictional works. I feel as if, if I were meant to be an author, this is the style I would choose. I wanted to open my mind to let things out and let other people know what goes on in my mind and what I think of on a daily basis. All cover and chapter pictures belong to me as I have drawn or captured them.

Before hell froze over, Hopes Peak Academy was a fun place to be in. Every day was something new and...bizarre to say the least. But the most bizarre thing is when a Solider and a Lucky Person meet for the first time, and many times afterwards...but you know what they say it all starts with a smile.

Broken, alone, and suicidal after being forced out of the closet by his supposed best friend, Maxxie Josephs decides on the unthinkable- suicide. But when things don't go to plan and he survives, he's trapped in his own personal hell of forced treatment, and forced to being to tackle the insurmountable struggles in his life. Inspired by real events and people in the author's life, "Ripples" is told in a series of vignettes, following around several people who are being currently impacted by Maxxie's choice.

Sometimes a string of words is all it takes to relate to an entire story. Sometimes an entire story is within just a string of words. A quote contains an experience and a connection, and those words are tied by a string that holds it all together. Here you'll find a series of vignettes, maybe related maybe not. But what matters is the story. And sometimes that's enough.
