His name was unique. I had never heard it before, and honestly didn't know how to pronounce it. But I learned. I don't know if it was his name, our mutual love for books, or maybe it was just the way he said hi. But I was in love. I fell in love hard and fast. If at the time when I read his first message someone would of told me the pain that came with loving him I would've smiled. To love someone so deeply it hurts is something everyone dreams for. But to love him so deeply was a privilege. The pain that came with loving him was worth it, because he was a one of a kind person that pales in comparison to everyone else. The pain was worth every second I got to talk to him, and I don't regret any second of it.

Lucy cannot explain what drew her over to these five, what made this halfling girl stand out in the cafeteria like a perfect snowflake amongst sleet, but she trusts it was divine intervention. Kipperlilly extends her hand to Lucy. "Welcome to the High 5 Heroes, Lucy." "High 5 Heroes." Lucy shakes Kipperlilly's hand. "I like that name." For a reason she can't explain, part of Lucy doesn't want to let go. (Or: Lucy Frostblade and Kipperlilly Copperkettle. Two lives that twine through time.)

Skyscrapers tower up around me. The light dusting of snow swirls on the ground and around my boots. People mill around--all on a different path. Some perhaps, are Christmas shopping. I, however, am just walking. Admiring the city decorations. A collection of ten vignettes featuring Zayn Malik.

A short poem story--or rather, a series of vignettes, but whatever--I wrote for school. Not perfect, but if it was perfect it'd be in print. This is Wattpad. Imperfection abounds. So I'm not going to worry about it. It's not like I'm trying to publish a novel. This is a story about a girl, whose parents are divorced, and who just wants to hang out with her dad. Really bad summary, but that's what I came up with.

"All they see is you, the fallout of an ambiguous ideal. Just another burnout lost in his own conscious, stumblin' blindly into an unwritten future." -Stumblin' The aim of this project is to take a series of fictional moments, a list of questions, a compilation of emotions, and take a snapshot of each; composing small self-contained vignettes that endeavour to unravel a number of ideas floating around in my subconscious. I want to try publish one short story a week on here, hopefully ending at around the 12-14 mark. This project will be intimate - it will explore parental relationships, drug usage, disease, and suffering of all orders of magnitude. And yet, it will in equal measure look upon the Universe with fading wonder, and remark upon the kindness and beauty which surrounds all of us, even if our circumstances prevent us from acknowledging it. Yes, my tales may be drenched in melancholy, but perhaps I will discover a degree of truth in the words I impose on this little exposition of mine. Only time will tell. A collision of conscience and consciousness. Enjoy.

A novel of stories, a story of narratives, a story of people, a story of bitterness, a story of hope. New chapters coming (and hopefully a new cover). Not knowing where to classify this so I'm listing it as teen fiction -- trying to steer clear of amateur banalities though. TRIGGER WARNING: First-time novels may be lame! Hate, love, comment, all are welcome -- but explain why.
