When Tade knocks over a salt shaker on a lazy Saturday afternoon, he doesn't expect it to talk back-let alone share six thousand years of history. From the kitchens of ancient pharaohs to famine-stricken villages and forgotten battlefields, the salt has seen humanity at its worst and rarest best. During my ninth grade, I've written a series of short vignettes and thought it would be cool to upload them somewhere, to keep them as my memento of my freshman year in high school. I hope they will bring you inspiration as I once did.

A series of vignettes I've written about my relationship with my cousin. We only see each other once a year for our family reunion, and the title of each vignette is the age we were when it took place.
