This is a ff with the Sidemen and The Pack in it, and the main ship will be Vikklan. (My first ever fanfic) It was a cool normal Autumn day... Well not too normal since The Sidemen and The Pack (Except Vik and Lachlan) were on a "trip", hence why Lachlan was in the Sidemen house with Vik. It was all going normal, when all of a sudden everything turned black and they were in a laboratory... -All rights for the cover picture goes to the original maker of it, I own nothing about the picture, only the title of course.- A/N: This fic was written in 2018, and only now reposted for the public to see in 2023 since the author didn't want it to go to waste. But she doesn't want to be a wife and she doesn't want to be a mother. She doesn't have the words for it yet, but she knows she isn't a girl. His saviour comes sooner than he expected as he cries in the field, his name having been read out that day at church. One of the 6 eligible boys around his age has been given permission to court and eventually propose to him and five other girls also chosen, but he isn't ready for it. It was against the rule to talk to boys, yet Jerome comforts him- and then suggests something crazy. A way to get out. A way to be free, live their lives the way they want to. But to do that, both have to cope with knowing that if they left, they would never talk to their families again. But first, they need to contact the outside world, and to do that, they need to be married. This book is based on partially on I am not Esther, a book about a girl in a religious cult, and partially on a real life religious cult. Gloriavale is a Christian fundamentalist group near Greymouth, existing separate from our modern world. I highly suggest searching Gloriavale on YouTube and reading the book for some more detail about this world.

Lachlan goes missing. No one knows why, or who took him, or where he went. There was a man, a lone, unidentified man on the security footage that lead him away from the bar while his friends stood, waiting for him. With no witnesses willing to come forward and hope running out fast, what is there to do? First a day passes. Then a week. Everyone is frantic, pleading his return- pleading for information. Someone must know what happened, someone must have seen him. Someone took him, and that someone is still holding him. If they hadn't killed him already. Time ticks on. Vikk can't continue a normal life like this, no one can move on. There are photographs, memorials, tributes and everyone is still pleading for someone to come forward, but no one does. How can anyone move on like this?

Preston was in a committed relationship, married, ready to begin a family, but complications left him alone with his little boy. But as their paths collide, things change.
