Samantha Krum doesn't know what she's in for when she's invited to Hogwarts for the Triwizard Tournament, but she learns to cope as she meets new friends, enemies, and even gets a glimpse into her long forgotten past. It's just your regular fan fiction story. Please don't go thinking that I don't know how to spell because I did my best to write in the accents of the Bulgarian and French characters of the story. I know how our regular spelling works. My grammar may not be perfect either, so I apologize in advance for that. I also reference what J. K. Rowling writes in her books, so please know that I'm not taking any credit for her work. Just to clarify. No copywriting please! The fall of 1994 was supposed to be just another year of learning and training for Hadrian Charlus Potter. But instead of intense study sessions and harsh training with his wand and weapons, Hadrian was to be shipped off with the rest of his classmates of the same year to Hogwarts for some lousy competition. Master Karkaroff says that the Triwizard Tournament was and should be banned, but obviously someone disagreed and had the power to make his disagreement known. The rest of his classmates, especially his best friend-Viktor Krum-were looking forward to the competition, eager to prove themselves. Hadrian was not, and for multiple reasons. First of all, and as mentioned before, Hadrian wished to complete his education without a life threatening distraction such as the Triwizard Tournament. As the Lord of the Most Noble House of Potter for a little more than two years, Hadrian constantly felt the pressure to do the best that he could. Which meant that he needed every knowledge he could get. Second, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry did not exactly leave the best memories for Hadrian. There's a reason why he chose to learn in Durmstrang starting his second year despite the long distance from home. Lastly, Michael James Potter, Hadrian's brother and the boy-who-lived, was currently studying at Hogwarts. Accompanying his spoiled brother were James and Lily Potter, teaching flying and Muggle Studies, respectively. But as Hadrian stood on the deck of Durmstrang's ship, listening to the constant crashing of the waves, feeling the icy breeze brush past his face, smelling the salty ocean embracing him, he began to think that perhaps, perhaps it was time for a change. Perhaps he should stop running away. Perhaps he should fight for what was his. Perhaps the Lord of the Most Noble House of Potter should announce his debut to Wizarding Britain, shake the world with his presence, leave a lasting legacy, forever influencing the past, present, and future.
