Funny how that works Unfortunately, I was wrong. People leave, bad things happen, and then suddenly you lose a part of yourself in the process. But its what you do in face of those challenges that make you who you are And I plan to face these challenges head-on from here on out, because now, I've always got a solution! follows Kairo, a shapeshifting alien who begins as an ordinary worker aboard Draven Rook's massive conquest fleet. He has no grand ambition, no desire to rule, and barely knows what he wants from life. After a completely accidental chain of events leads to Draven's death, Kairo refuses the throne and simply believes the conquered planets should decide their own futures. His words give Sailvy the opportunity to transform the former conquest fleet into the Protector system, changing them from conquerors into a force that helps worlds without ruling them. Kairo relies on observation, research, and biological adaptation; Ben relies on instinct and the Omnitrix; Gwen provides analysis and magic; Kevin handles practical problems; and Sara keeps the group grounded. On Earth, the group becomes connected to the search for Max Tennyson, who has disappeared into the Null Void after encountering the Highbreed and DNAliens. Their investigation gradually reveals that Earth's alien history is much older and stranger than Kairo expected. Plumber records reveal that Draven Rook had encountered Earth and had a history with Vilgax long before Kairo knew about it. The Forever Knights possess even older records, including a brief historical encounter between Draven and an ancient dragon-like guardian.

After defeating the demon, Majora, Link leaves Termina behind and prepares to start a new adventure with Epona in tow.
