Her friends hate and love her at the same time. Her cousin loves her, but hates her with a burning passion. Her sister is frustrated to no end by her, but of course she's the only one who knows. See, everyone has secrets. Ellie included. But Ellie's secret, is a little darker then you may have originally thought.

Book One in the Once Upon a Villain series. Books do not have to be read in order. Maleficent was raised to be evil. She never knew anything else. She had no chance of being good. Or did she? This is my own take on Maleficent's backstory. If you are looking for a story like the one Disney made, this is not the place for you. Note: I did not create the cover, credit to whoever made it. This story takes place in Daegu, South Korea. Where the Villain would sacrifice the world to save you where the Hero would sacrifice you for the world.. The plot-twist where there Villian is a bigger hero than the hero himself.

"I'm not the monster that you think I am. I'm the monster that you wanted me to be." Long ago, there were tales of a sorceress known as Maleficent. Several rumors were spread throughout the land of who the great Maleficent was. I believe her most famous tale was the curse on Princess Aurora. Perhaps it's because the beloved, innocent princess didn't deserve a curse so cruel, or maybe it's because after it was broken, that was the last time anyone ever saw Maleficent. Now of course, you have your silly little rumors that the king claimed his victory in killing the sorceress that killed his daughter, then there's also the rumors that she killed herself, or there's some that she died of old age. I know what you must be thinking. Which one could possibly be the truth!? Fear not, because I'm here to tell you the real reason why no one has seen her since that dreadful curse. In fact, I'm the sole reason why she has been in solitude for years. Now that nearly all of you must be confused, let me introduce myself. My name is Lilith, and I'm the daughter of Maleficent. You see, no one had any knowledge, but just before her greatest curse, my mother became pregnant. I mean, it's not that much of a surprise. Talk about hormonal. My mother wished the very best for me, so she went into hiding after the great curse. She didn't want her daughter to see her as the wicked sorceress that the kingdom saw her as. To protect me from those who may have wanted to seek out revenge, we hid away in a castle that had been abandoned for years and surrounded by a cloaking spell. For the past 19 years, we have lived peacefully in our own little estate. At least we did.. until today.

Clarissa Klins has one huge secret, she just doesn't know it yet. It all starts when she receives letters from no one about some necklace that belonged to her mother. She's sure it's her real parents, but who they are is beyond her. Could there be something in the castle to give her clues to her family? Clarissa isn't the only one trying to hide something. Jaycee Malfoy has a dark secret she doesn't want anyone else to know. Problem is some people don't know when to stop. Reese Diggory is determined to figure her out, but could that lead her into danger? Draco seems to fall in the middle of drama. Though far too young for romance, he's sure he has found someone. Maybe the one. Has he set his eyes on someone he shouldn't? Things get complicated at hogwarts and it's only their first year. *Disclaimer* Most of these characters belong to J.K. Rowling, I do not own them. Clarissa is my OC and Reese and Jay belong to my friends who collaborated with me on this (like six years ago.) Blue must try to expose himself as the imposter to the other nine crewmates while constantly fighting for control of his own mind before he is forced to kill every one of them. * * This is my first story, so if you're more experienced than me, I'd love some tips and constructive criticism in the comments. The story takes place on The Skeild map from the popular video game Among Us! by InnerSloth LLC. All art is by me and the story is by me. * There's some cursing, body horror, and gore, so be careful if you're sensitive to that stuff. * I also have characters using neopronouns and almost everyone is LGBTQ+, so if you want a little representation, there's some here.
