Rei panicked and moved closer to the door sobbing at her realisation; she was scared of what her son could become, or rather who... ... Using her quirk enabled her to touch the hot handle as she threw it, aiming at the hallucination of Endeavor her mind conjured in place of her youngest son. Breathing heavily she stared with satisfaction, as the image disillusioned... to see her son holding his left eye whilst sobbing in pain Rei screeched in pained astonishment. She did that. The disarray of negative emotion affected her quirk as she tried to heal the burn, it made the tissue burn as the unstable quirk blasted a stronger version of dry ice. Todoroki runs away from home at a young age. He is kidnapped and decides to join his abductors. Then he meets Izuku Midoriya and starts to wonder if the path he choose is right for him. And if he can change it. This is the main idea, it might change as I come up with better plot twists.
