A team of six make their way back to Midgar, after finding someone they thought was long dead. What trouble will they run into on the way back, or will the last part of their journey go smoothly for once?

A little spin off of Violet Shadows. He's suffering; I can tell. Even after death, he's haunted, waking up in a cold sweat every night. He's quiet in the mornings, too quiet for it to be normal. I thought it would only last the first week or so, we all thought it would past. It's tearing him apart, and there's nothing I can do.

Somehow, Vincent's good dreams hurt more than his bad ones. Just Vincent Valentine having a bit of an angsty breakdown. Takes place between the end of FFVII and Advent Children.

I decided to re-write this story as I wasn't happy with how it went.

She wanted to love him, he wanted Lucrecia to love himself. Fiora Day is the reincarnation of Aerith Gainsborough, she was sent down to Gaia from the lifestream to serve one purpose, nothing extra. Fiora was meant to aid Aerith's friends and battle Deep ground, but instead...Fiora fell for Vincent Valentine. The man who no longer felt anything. He no longer felt what he wanted to feel because the one he truly loved...was dead. Vincent will continue to shut Fiora out because he just wants to love Lucrecia... This fanfic is a collaboration between myself and @PrincessChan326, who also created the art. It is a semi-crossover concept in which Vincent Valentine of FFVII has a similar affliction as The Corpse Bride (movie). It also stars Princess-Chan's OCs and includes some other franchises.
