Luz Noceda is an average teenager trying to get a career in music but that proves to be difficult while being in school and having such a protective mom. Her favorite artist Amity Blight was trying to form a backing band for gigs because she usually performs solo, just her guitar and a couple of song files without the vocals and lead guitar.
