None of the previous years have ever come back to talk about it. Each child, boy or girl, is ushered into a white room with no other furniture than a white chair and white table. They are asked questions meant to test their intelligence by a recorded machine but given no time limit. The ones that pass are elevated into higher levels of education; the ones who don't are thrown out on the streets and left to die. This is the story of one girl who failed The Test.
