Y/n Denouement was the youngest of the Denouement brothers. The Denouement brothers, the leaders of the Last Safe Place, and members of the VFD. Many fire starters wanted them dead, while many VFDs supported and follow them. But Y/n never cared about leadership or was worried about being hurt or targeted by people. He was too busy being a performer in opera and musical theater. So then at a VFD party, what do Frank, Ernest, and Dewey do when out of breath and terrified Jaques tells them Y/n is gone? The triplets rush outside to find him but only do they not find a body but only a bloody knife... So how is Y/n alive and why is he now trying to save the Baudelaire children? Instead of going home and telling his brothers he's alive and no longer missing?

DISCLAIMERS! (Scroll down) -------------- Things seem to be looking up for the three (now Four) Baudelaires. Violet, Klaus, and Sunny began as very intelligent people who were charming and resourceful with pleasant facial features and they will certainly end that way. Be aware that this book contains a joyful reunion, a sleuth invitation, four suspects, and blueberry muffins and while it is nowhere near as woeful as the orphans' previous experiences, it is equally as mysterious and as curious. If you want to, you can look away, but it's best advised that you don't, unless you'd rather stare at a wall for the rest of the unfortunate situation the world finds itself in. -------------- 1. This is a very book-canon story. I love the Netflix series, but I wanted this to be a sort of "realistic" continuation of my boy Lemony Snicket's work. 2. I write most of this on my phone and since autocorrect is infuriating, there may be a few mistakes. PLEASE comment so I can correct them. 3. I'm re-reading the books because I haven't read them in AGES so if something is incorrect, know that I will fix it after I read the books. 4. This story will end up being a very intense mystery, but with a very happy ending. Be warned! 5. Constructive criticism is helpful. Rudeness is not :) 6.
