70 years after the explosion in 2033, the last of the population of earth is left in hiding. Away from what used to be large countries and cities. Cassy was born with Alexandria's Genesis - the mutation that causes the effect of the violet eyes and is therefore dreading her 16th birthday; but she knows what she must do to help her planet.

I got on the train and found what I believed to be an empty compartement. I was wrong. I opened the door to see three people who look my age. Two males, one female. The one male with blonde hair was laying in the females lap. And the other male was laughing at something she had said. I was just about to close the door when I heard a sharp intake of breath. I turned to see the one male who wasn't in the females lap with his mouth wide open.

No madder what happens to this guy. The Girl With the violet eyes will always be there. She'll comfort him. She'll love him. And she'll marry him.
