When Prince Dietfried gave a young girl to his brother to be his personal slave, neither brother knew that Prince Gilbert would fall in love with her. But with the kingdom watching him, his parents refusing to relinquish the law of slaves in their land, and his brother's wrath, Gilbert knows that he can never let it be known that he loves Violet. They can never have a life together...but he burns for it more each day. Violet, an orphan, knows that she must follow the rules as a slave of the royal kingdom. Punishment or even death is not something she is willing to face. So she follows orders to the letter, strives to be the best slave that she can be. But when she begins to feel the unfamiliar blossom of love for Prince Gilbert, Violet knows that she must keep her emotions to herself, less she cause trouble for not only herself but the man she loves as well.

Because they both deserve the happiest ending.

This is my own story that goes off of the anime. I just saw the anime and loved it. But this is how I wish it would've went.

Love, now that Violet knows better about the love she's ready to pass by the trials that life provides.
