Max Reyes - a loud, irreverent content creator known for satirical history reels - pokes fun at national heroes in a viral post and wakes up to a very modern kind of haunting: ghost accounts, ghosted DMs, and ghostly edits that force history into her feed. What begins as canceled-brand panic becomes an escalating confrontation with voices from the past: spectral figures, fragmentary confessions, and images that bleed between the 1890s and 2025.
Pulled into the margins of revolutionary memory by an anonymous account and a mysterious antiquarian in Intramuros, Max is compelled to reframe her mockery into reckoning. The social-media spectacle collapses into something quieter but far more consequential - an encounter with unresolved truths about Bonifacio, Aguinaldo, and what it means to let a story remain unfinished. In the end, the ghosts demand not vengeance but clarity - and Max must decide whether to amplify their truth or turn the screen permanently dark.
