Kylie is a sweet girl. She was only five years old when the Chicago Mafia was forced to vacate every female on the premises to a safe house in the middle of no where. Now, fifteen years later, they're all being escorted back. Everybody is different. They're all older. Even her big brother, who would sing lullabies to her at night, is different. They're all a lot meaner. And deadlier. Just down right scary, actually. However, that doesn't matter to Kylie. She'll just have to learn to love them for who they are now. *** Lupin has always thought Kylie was cute. She called him her boyfriend when she was five and he let her because he liked her sunshine. The girl was like a fairytale princess. Now, fifteen years later, Lupin isn't who he once was. He wishes he was, but he's not. If he's going to protect his family-the entire Chicago Mafia-he can't be the guy that Kylie had a crush on all those years ago. However, Kylie doesn't seem to want that. She's completely different in the most subtle ways and Lupin is pretty sure he won't be able to stay away from her light.
