Virgil hugged the stuffed bear to his chest. Tears of gratitude slid down his pale cheeks. Patton, his party hat sitting crookedly on his head, grinned. Purple icing from the slice of birthday cake he ate was smudged on the corner of his mouth. His glasses rested on the tip of his freckled nose. This is a Moxiety fan-fic about Virgil blurring the lines of gender expression and taking pride in androgyny. Along the way, he becomes closer to Patton than ever. What makes it harder is the fact that Virgil is a trans man and he has spent his whole life constantly trying to prove his masculinity to other people. He likes how androgyny makes him feel and look and he likes to blur the lines of people's perception of his gender but it's hard to go from trying to be as hyper masculine as possible to not caring what gender people perceive him as. Will he be able to find confidence and pride in his choice of expression or is he doomed to be another product of toxic masculinity until the end of time? (All characters belong to Thomas Sanders.)

So the Sanders Sides Series is amazing and if you haven't watched it be warned: you will quickly be in love. After a lot of thinking I've decided to try and write about the boys since the fandom is so fun and give me a lot of inspiration- including sandersides_prompts on Insta who you should go and follow. A good few ideas of hers will go here. Of course this is fanfiction so all of these characters belong to the amazing Thomas Sanders and his team Enjoy!

Ok, so in this AU, Virgil, Roman, Thomas, Patton, and Logan are all just roommates instead of the same person! (I'm sure this AU has already been made but whatever lmao) Since they aren't the same they have some appearance changes (basically changed hairstyles and that's it) and well as changed last names that for me, fit better, or are just random. Thomas is still Thomas Sanders, Logan is Logan Einstien(smarty), Roman is Roman Charming(prince stuff), Patton is Patton Morgan(play off of morality), and Virgil is Virgil Lee(last name of Amy Lee, a singer in Evanescence) The Logince doesn't come 'till really late in the fic just letting you know WARNINGS: Anxiety Attacks Self Harm More edgy stuff...Blame Virgil for this
