in this AU a virus called Shadowflux Illness (it would be told in some chapter), all ponys/Humans were infected from it because of a crystal tree made of shadows that grows fruits that are easily eaten by those who are foolish enough to eat them and live to tell a tale (MLP and Images belong to their rightful owners)
