He's one of the world's biggest idols. To her, he's just the man who broke her shattered her centerpiece. Burnt out and seeking a shadow to hide in, Kim Namjoon wanders into a quiet pottery studio in St. Ives-and promptly shatters a piece of "Sea-Glass" porcelain. Karina, the sharp-witted artist who runs the studio, isn't impressed by his fame. To her, he is simply a stranger with heavy boots and "guilty-sounding" breath. To repay his debt, Namjoon trades the stage for the kiln, learning the grounding reality of wet clay and the language of touch. In the salt-thick air of the Cornish coast, they navigate the shape of each other's scars-his lost privacy, her life without sight-finding a sanctuary where his status means nothing and her intuition means everything. But when the roar of the world threatens to puncture their peace, they must decide if their connection can survive the collision. In a story of poetry, pottery, and Kintsugi, Namjoon and Karina discover that the most beautiful things aren't the ones that remain whole, but the ones mended with gold.
