Back in 1998, I self-published a 'zine' at a local printers. It took all sorts of hassle, striving and saving to produce something which would always look a bit crappy. Now that Wattpad has enabled everyone to present graphic media in experimental ways, here's a bit of a throwback to a less lustrous era which might still inspire a few storytelling possibilities, or at least amuse fellow fans of a magnificent movie.

"Within her raged a Restless Ocean." Oh, how beguiled she was to believe in her completion, to have conviction she was whole on her own, her tideless, clement oceans blinding. He was the ripple she felt as a vortex in her watery encapsulation.

The world of Injection takes place centuries after a cataclysmic event has brought the human race to the brink of extinction. A corporation named Syntech forms to restore order and salvage technology from the past to fuel future innovations. Their success hinges on the use of D.E.I.T.Y.s, agents chosen through an undisclosed process. Each D.E.I.T.Y. has a unique weapon and is aided by injection: specialized serums created by Syntech that enable agents to augment their abilities with various powers. Our story follows one agent, Jinn, who is sent to one of the last remaining cities to hunt for a defector of the organization.

UVI is dedicated to getting rid of victim blaming, and instead replacing it with victim safety and intuition.

• Stereotypes = Division - "United we stand, divided we fall." ...right?

A cyberpunk thriller for a generation with nothing left to lose at the hands of its corporate overlords. John Quantum is the most recognized name in technology, but the familiar face he wears isn't his own. Cloned from the deceased founder of Quantum Computing, John is corporate property in all but name, he lives as the shadow of a man he will never know. When he learns of 26319, a clone imprisoned for a crime 26319's originator committed, the injustice strikes a chord. Tired of being seen as the fixed product of genetic programming, John is determined to prove the legacy thrust upon him does not define his humanity. He never intended to set off a series of events which could redefine the very meaning of 'human.' When a powerful new technology is discovered hidden inside 26319, and social unrest against automated labor reaches critical mass, John realizes the line between man and machine is far more difficult, and more dangerous, to expose than he thought. His quest inadvertently paves the way for five renegade AIs to reshape the world in their vision of human utopia. But not all share this vision. John and five other POV revolutionaries: 26319, a cybersecurity billionaire, two lowlife hackers, and an evangelical fundamentalist find themselves at the center of conflicting movements which will determine whether machines are to be humanity's masters, servants or saviors. The war over human identity begins.

(UPDATES EVERY SUNDAY) You don't believe in God, Lucas? That's okay. He believes in you. And he's coming for you... There's some seriously weird shit happening to Lucas. First, a runaway bus nearly puts him ten feet under, and no one can explain exactly what happened. Next, an asteroid the size of said bus destroys half the city block, and nearly takes Lucas with it. What the hell is happening? And how long is he supposed to cheat death with nothing but the sarcastic new girl from his class and a seriously lame sense of humor?

"In 1953 a laboratory on an undisclosed location develops a serum that could genetically modify humans, giving them enhanced speed, agility, strength, and brainpower. Scientists found a way to modify the serum, only activating itself in the presence of a Y chromosome, thus isolating the effects to men, mostly due to female discrimination. The serum was a success, and sales exploded just a few weeks after its release. What the developers did not anticipate, though, was the human body's incapacity to handle the serum. The mental and physical over-exhaustion triggered a mental decay which starts out slow, but speeds up exponentially within a few months after usage of the serum. The brains of the users are left with only the most basic survival reflexes, transforming the users into strong, fast, agile, emotionless human shells, devouring any mobile life forms in their way. Bites from the affected could place copies of the serum into the bodies of the bitten, giving them the symptoms. No one was safe... No one... Except the women."

This story is kyy but in my style and with lots of flashbacks and twists and turns. So hop on in this roller coaster journey of manik and nandini. In collaboration with @manan_forever

Join me in the horror, drama, and excitement within my short story. Story word count: 8,030 words. I've entered this contest because I've always been talented and was afraid to do anything with it, but my mother always said you will never know your worth unless you try. So, I decided to enter. And perhaps the daughters that aren't my own that I raise, I can give them what they've always wanted: a good house and new clothing that I couldn't afford before. Mystery? In a Royal Court? What price do you pay to protect someone? What cost to yourself do you pay to make sure tender dreams are not crushed? There are no dragons (not on this planet, everyone is glad about that). Dungeons are generally for social order.
