Simba and Nala have brought a new heir into the world. They couldn't be happier. But their happiness soon turns to worry when they find that Zira also has a new arrival. Simba fears what could come about in the future with his son, Kopa and Zira's daughter, Vitani. Simba and Nala vow to protect Kopa to the best of their abilities. But Zira swore to get her revenge on Simba for Scar's death. She's persistent. She won't stop until her promise is fulfilled.

How did Mufasa and Sarabi fall in love? What happened between Scar and Zira? Who is Nala's father? This story starts from Ahadi and Uru's Reign to the start of Mufasa and Sarabi's. This is basically what I think should've happened before The Lion King movie, the parts of the story that we weren't told about or didn't see. All the Pridelanders knew Safi. You couldn't miss her with her extra bangs of hair and distinctive blue eyes, or that she was almost always in the company of King Simba himself or Prince Kion, and sometimes both. Everyone reasoned that, with King Simba and Prince Kion watching over her, Safi would grow up to be a very happy, cheerful, well ~ groomed cub. But they also knew she had a past: a past she never talked about, and, when people did ask her, she flinched, or dodged the questions she was posed. As if she didn't want to talk about it. It was also generally known Safi's "family" in Pride Rock was not her own, but, rather, one she had herself chosen. Only Safi knew her full story, and she was playing things very close to the chest, despite concerned voices often following her wherever she went. She would not tell anyone her secret. At least until the day came when Safi's past was standing in front of her and talking to her.

Dire wolves and Saber-Toothed Tigers were always enemies, but Kiara and Diego proved that even the oldest rivalries can change. Together they have created something the Ice Age has never seen before-hybrid cubs, half wolf and half saber, and the beginning of a new generation.

But with the threat of Zira and disapproval of Simba, Kopa wonders if their love will pay a price.

This book tells about Kopa's story on him, his sister Kiara, and his lover Vitani. This story will make you wonder how, why, and who hurt him. Will he live or die?
