Lance never thought his life was normal. He was smart, an expert pilot and incredibly good looking. All these qualities on top of only being a student, he knew he was unusually perfect. But in the middle of his flight, an explosive force rips the plane in half and sends all its passengers tumbling towards the ocean below. Lance hits the water and sinks deeper and deeper into the sea. He should have died. But he wakes up underwater. That's when he suspected his life wasn't normal, and in the bad way. Excerpt: Keith was dry heaving. It was at that moment Lance realised he had been clutching his friend. He let go. Keith needed to rest after all that. Lance put himself on lookout duty. The water around them was dead silent now, compared to when the lively pod was circling overhead like vultures. They were safe for now. His heart was still pounding. The adrenaline was wearing out and Lance could feel a sharp ache in his hand from where Keith death-gripped it. It was accumulating some purple spots in the shape of four fingers wrapped around his palm. "Look what you did," he said, showing it off. Keith lifted up his own arm coolly in response. Blotches of red and purple covered it from his forearm to his fingers. The sight of it wiped the cheeky grin off Lance's face. Keith could not hide his laughter. *** Updates once every 2 weeks!!
