Every ten years for the past two hundred years, a battle of the bands is held, determining the next artists that can create music for the public. The winner, earns a ten-million dollar prize, huge respect in the community, and the honor of playing music actually copyrighted and worth money for people to listen to. Competition is tough though, out of a limit of one hundred bands, fifty will be chosen, then twenty, top ten, top five, and the winner. To win is the dream of bands who want to be popular, but once you enter, you cannot enter the next decade.
