The Void is sentient. It seeks the consumption of all existence, but is unable to do so due to forces it unintentionally gave rise to during its own emergence. Unable to act directly, it instead corrupts reality - influencing, degrading, and destabilizing it over time. Humanity discovered the Void after its effects became measurable. In response, the Void Response Authority was formed: an interstellar organization tasked with studying Void-corrupted phenomena, containing active threats, and, when possible, repurposing anomalous properties as weapons. Soriel is a void anomaly employed by the VRA as an anomalous agent. Following a transfer to the Frontier planet Abyssia, he becomes part of a system designed to observe, control, and survive the influence of the Void - even as conditions begin to diverge from what the Authority considers acceptable.

Alright, so imagine a world where everyone's born with a Fate Sigil. Think of it as your own personal superpower that pegs your worth, your job, and if you even get to breathe. No sigil? You're basically trash, fit for chores or just disappearing. Now, meet Alex, a gamer from our world. His own raid team offed him during the season's toughest dungeon. Arin just wants to live, but Null (Alex) sees this world as a fresh game he's set on beating. They figure out the Void Fragment can eat, patch, and redo busted Sigils. This lets them cook up wild hybrid powers that shouldn't exist. But now the church, rich folks who trade human sigils, and a society that hates the underdogs are after them. Arin and Null start collecting other weirdos: a silver-haired girl with a Soul Mirror Sigil that's off-limits, a noble who lost his power, and a quiet archive worker who knows everything about old sigil stuff. In the shadows of old cities and dungeons, they get a crazy thought - a place where rejects get another shot: a kingdom for the trash.

A mysterious NPC is spotted while playing Mazin' Hamsters on Webkinz... So I wrote this because of a thing that started in the Mazin' Hamsters Rewritten Discord server when the lead dev accidentally created a "void" hamster who was dubbed.. well, Void. Their game crashed immediately afterwards and the shadow hamster disappeared (they were never able to recreate them), so it became a running joke/creepypasta in the server.
