Voldemort never died. Instead his wife was murdered by Dumbledore and his infant son kidnapped. Colin Potter is hailed as the Chosen One as Voldemort goes into hiding due to his depression. For his protection seeing as the boy was related to the Dark lord, outside of his manor, he went by Sebastian Adams which is his mother's surname. That is his fake surname and it was forged into his fake birth certificate so that he could be enrolled into Hogwarts within the near future. He'd be kept out of danger until he was 18 and then he's allowed to freely go by his original last name. Despite inheriting most of his mother's physical features, the boy inherited Tom's personality. Cunning, cocky, such bravery and manipulative. Sebastian is blunt and isn't afraid to state whatever is on his mind. He loves sharing crude yet funny jokes of his to the world. He was given the opportunity to learn both light and dark magic. Tom allowed his son to have choices as to what kind of life he wanted for himself, allowing him to become a man of his own nature. He never wished to force the boy to do whatever that he dislikes. Yet he was indeed disciplined and has respectable manners. He jokes whenever he's given the opportunity to do so.
