The Blackbourne Team has been undercover for the past six months with a dangerous gang. Everything is fine until Kota gets kidnapped. The group who took him is actually a rival mafia. Their family panicked and have no idea how to help Kota without breaking their cover. All seems lost to the team who are all resigned to losing all the work they have done. Until Owen offers a solution. But this particular solution will reveal some secrets that their Team Liaison have kept hidden: A girl, a girlfriend in this situation. In the Scarab Beetle series, there is one mention of a 12 year old girl whose score at Ashley Waters High School were higher then Wil Winchester's, but no explanation is ever made of who she is, what she is like, or any mention of her in the Ghost Bird series. She interested me, so I wrote the beginning of her tale... India Mikasi is a genius, they say, but she doesn't see herself that way. Of herself, she just says she was a "little brighter than average" and that as a mixed race person, she knew what it was like to be reviled, despised, and then ultimately ignored. At Ashley Waters she was small enough to avoid the bullying, hear a lot she shouldn't have, and acquired nine adopted brothers and a sister of the heart... all before her thirteenth birthday.

Sang only wants one partner. When she has to break a curse, she learns that nine of her closest friends want her heart. Will she choose one, or will she learn to love them all? ~*~ Set in this au, polygamy and polyamory are accepted. Owen's parents are still alive and are still deeply in love. Sean has two sets of parents- his birth family and the family who adopted him. Kota has a loving family of two fathers, mother, and sister. Nathan has a loving family with his mom, dad, and younger brother. Victor's family is loving and caring. North and Luke's mother are married to their father. Silas's brother isn't a pyromaniac and his mother is still alive, smiling and laughing. Gabe has two mothers who are married to his father and deeply loves his younger siblings. She is surrounded by her nine childhood friends who are both her confidants, knights, advisors, and best friends. She dreams of having one husband while ruling the kingdom. When a sleeping curse is cast on her kingdom by their enemy Volto, will she be able to find the answer? When a seer tells her that the way to break the curse is through true love's kiss, will she be able to find her true love? What if Sang was kidnapped once more by Volto? By the time that the boys find her, Volto has beaten Sang into a coma. She wakes up two weeks later with no memory of her past, including the boys. The Blackbourne Team makes the decision to step back and leave her alone for her safety. What they didn't know is that within the next two weeks, Sang regains her memory. Keeping it a secret and feeling betrayed by those who have abandoned her, Sang runs away and uses her identity as a Ghost Bird to her advantage. No one can find her. A small little detail that Sang didn't know was that she is pregnant. With not one, not two, not three, but a lot of babies. How will Sang manage? What will happen if Volto comes back one more time? When Sang was 9 years old, she was rescued from her abusive family by Dr. Roberts. Sang was adopted by Dr. Roberts and was taken to his home in South Carolina where she meets two boys. For a year, they become close friends. When Sang was 10, she was assigned an overseas mission as the boys were assigned a mission at a school to observe a group of five boys. While she was gone, they would send letters to each other until one letter broke their relationship. Now 17, Sang and her team moves back to South Carolina. On a mission, Sang, in a disguise, bumps into Mr. Blackbourne. What will happen when Sang meets the Blackbourne team and her two former friends? ***This is a fanfiction based off of CL Stone's Ghostbird series. All the characters are hers and I take no credit or financial gain for them. This is a simple 5500 word one shot.*** After watching over the Blackbourne team, individually and as a family, for their whole lives as their guardian angel, Sang receives a notice from The Guardian Council with news straight from Fate. She's faced with the dilemma: follow instructions and do the job that was assigned to her or give up everything she is for the chance to save them.

I had no family, I never did. Mother didn't want me, father just didn't seem to care and Marie...Marie despised my very existence!. It wasn't always like this, when I was little, mother would sing songs to Marie and I and we would dance along happily, but I never really had a father figure in my life. It didn't just start overnight..something changed. Some days, she'd spend hours yelling at me, telling me how worthless I was and how much she hated me until it was ingrained in my memory. I grew older, and it got worse. I would be forced to kneel on rice or sit on stools for hours on end. I just didn't understand, she claimed she was helping me so I wouldn't become like 'Lola'. I didn't know who she was, but when I'd asked dad, he'd dismiss saying mother was just saying things because she was sick. then he and mother would get into a fight, and then I'd get punished again, I'd be forced to drink mother's favorite concoction of lemon and vinegar. I hated it...I hated it so much. I learned quickly never to ask of her again. I loved playing with gadgets around the house and once when I was asked to clean and I went into my father's room and opened his computer, it was so fascinating. But I didn't know how to work it, And i wasn't allowed to go to school, so every time I was tasked to do Marie's homework, I would read as much as I could about computer's . I would go everyday to dads computer, and When I finally cracked the code, i saw it, my documentations, my birth certificate, were all forged. Mother wasn't my mother. I printed everything I could and hid it in my clothes. But when I was just past the door, I was caught. It was the first time my father hit me. But with all these things, I never complained, I never asked for anything more, all I asked was for them to accommodate me until I was old enough to fend for myself, but no...when mother passed away, I was left with no one. Many things happened to me after that. I am sang Sorensen, and this is my story...
