In the heat of battle against the Galra Empire, a wormhole appears out of nowhere. Tossing Lance, Shiro and Keith to the unknown depths of the other side it brought them to. The three of them get separated and finds themselves stranded in an unknown planet, their Lions unresponsive. Being stuck while waiting for the others to find them wasn't the worst part but having to deal with the planet's occupants whose ruler has taken a strong and troublesome liking for the Red Paladin of Voltron. DISCLAIMER I do not own Voltron Legendary Defenders. I do not own the characters from the show. They all belong to their rightful owners, Dreamworks. This is merely a fan fiction made for the entertainment of the readers.

A disease took place upon the world and spread like the plague. Scientist and doctors had never seen anything like it before and each patient eventually died in their care. The real problem was that the patients didn't stay dead. They would wake and acted as if they were alive, but they weren't. Their hearts didn't beat, lungs didn't take in air. They began to attack people, eating them like cannibals. Those who were scratched, bit, or took in any of the dead's bodily substance in any way were infected and would soon have the same fate. Cities became abandoned and the population decreased rapidly. Those who survived went into groups, scavenging for anything they could get their hands on. Lance has always felt like he had to be better than Keith. He was always competing with Keith, but he never really wanted to. In some ways he found Keith intriguing and he wanted to get to know him. So when Shiro gave him Keith's number, he knew this was the perfect way to get closer to him.

This is about a teen named Keith who struggled and found himself alone a lot in school. He managed to get into many fights but was a sports fanatic and had really high grades in astrology. Another boy named Lance and his two other friends Pidge and Hunk both have their lives goi straight. Until one day Keith and Lance got into a argument and both stayed on separate sides, yet did Lance know Keith's dark life. Shiro was another man working as a huge international athlete who sometimes taught at schools, was like Keith's brother and looked after him trying to help him over come his sadness. Adam was another teacher at t he school and also wanted to help Keith. Lance finds that he has a part to play and finds Keith in his real atmosphere and saw him smile with happiness for the first time. Lance knew that he had to help Keith....

But in order to form Voltron, each of the Lions need a paladin, and Hiccup, Jack, Elsa, Andy, and Eugene have all been chosen to become the paladins and defenders of the free worlds! It was another day at the garrison. Until Roman and Patton caught Logan sneaking around with a wierd sort of laptop. He claims that that he heard alien chatter about something called.. 'Voltron'.
