But she starts to develop feelings for one of the paladins when they are fighting galra, and soon starts to show her emotions without realizing. She is also the paladin, of the purple lion, and can communicate with the lions due to a special bond that runs deeper than blood.But what happens when one of the paladins' heart begins to fail? Will she reveal her past to her friends, or keep it a secret as it slowly kills her from the inside, as the others are oblivious? This is a Klance Fanfiction, taking place in a universe where Lance is Altean, Keith is Galra, Hunk is Balmara, Pidge is Olkari, Shiro is stil Human and Allura and Coran are still Altean. It starts off Pre-Voltron and goes from there. I suck at summarys but I hope you all enjoy.

I'm Kaida Donovan, one of the best pilots to ever attend the Garrison, the youngest commander of the Space Force Military, and the fastest fighter in the universe. Although... I'm not human, I'm Draconian. The strongest and fiercest alien race to have ever existed. I was banished from my home planet. Why? -can't remember. The thing about banishment is that we are supposed to 're-live' our lives on a random planet with little-to-no memory of our home. Most people don't survive banishment, but I was lucky. Still, my life felt like a dark prison with no escape. I hated humans, I hated the earth and I hated this forsaken life I've been forced to live with. That was until I met...The White Lion of Voltron. For some reason, it thought I was worthy enough to be its paladin. He gave me a mission, to protect the blue lion that was hidden on earth and train to become one of the defenders of the universe. Soon, I started training every day to become a better person tomorrow. Along the way, I ended up in the Galaxy Garrison and made friends with my team: Shiro, Matt, and Veronica. I was one of the youngest students to graduate. I made my way up to becoming Admiral, and one of the best pilots in the galaxy. Later, I met a kid named Keith, he reminded me of myself before I met White. He had nowhere to go and no family to turn to. So, I took him in as a little brother. In an odd way, we became our own family. Life was pretty good... Unfortunately, I was captured by an alien race known as the Galra, 3 years before the Kerberos mission... . . . little back story, almost everything is lined up with the show, but Lance and his older sister got taken by the Galra, Hunk and Lances family were the only ones who showed they cared about the two disappearing. Matt never went on the mission resulting in his capture, so when the scene where they find Shiro in episode 1, it was Matt flying the Blue Lion instead of Lance, also the ages of the characters will not line up as it is sort of the only way this fanfic will kind of make sense, fast forward to where Lance (who is still missing) Hunk and Pidge are 16, Matt is 17 , Shiro is 24 and Keith is 17. We all know Lotor, the DICK, well he has all his partners in crime and all that but, he has two bodyguards, not his partners in crime, and yes, I know that Lotor is 10,000 years old or whatever but for this fanfic Lotor is a bit younger, Hes like 18, anyway when Lance and his sister were taken, they were tortured, but when Lances older sister wouldn't break and kept her spirit, she was killed, Lance is a different story, sense he was at such a young point in his life he was easily broken, his memories were erased, and new ones took present, fake ones. Lance was also used as an experiment for the Galrens, he was tested on and given different liquids of all sorts, resulting in his DNA spiraling and holding some Galren. Keith never left the Paladins, but he is still Galren, and when Lotor escapes his father's clutch he offers an alliance between him, his partners in crime and his two bodyguards. Vrepit Sa, reader. trigger warnings we'll be in the story when something triggering happens.

The Galra's most elite spy, Keith Kogane, has been failing at convincing the Galra that he is on their side. As a test, they sent him on a mission, to sneak inside the castle of lions and destroy the castle's energy crystal. Keith, being a the best spy this galaxy has seen, knows he'll do well, after all, he made a plan using the information that the Galra who put him up to this mission gave him. Only problem, that information he was given was a lie. They did this because it was testing Keith's improvising skills, that and so they could laugh at him as he failed the mission. Keith's mission would of worked if it wasn't for getting caught by the none other than the lion god himself, Lance McClain. Keith was determined to complete his mission but he can't help but feel as though maybe he shouldn't try to earn the Galra's trust. He wanted to just live his life normally, but these crazy missions he goes on are fun sure, but maybe not fit for Keith. The spy is lost and only feels safe and home when in Lance's embrace and Lance feels the same way. If only their love could stay forever but Keith failed and Sendak has a plan for Keith to advance.. Keith and Lance finally meet once more, Lance is extremely excited to see his lover again but Keith seems off, almost like he forgot everything. He's determined to complete any mission that is necessary, even if it means death, and has only one objective to complete; kill the Lion God. What will Lance do it finally get his love to remember their relationship and the promise they promised... "I'll come back for you...I promise..."

Yes I'm rewriting a fan fiction that I started years ago. What of it? Yes it's Klance I just need it right now okay?! High school AU Lance McClain had everything he wanted popularity, loved by all, the captain of the hockey team, and was at the top of his class. Keith Kogane on the other hand is a different story he is always on his phone never talking to anyone and keeping to himself a lot, his grades are average and he doesn't do any sports.
