Voltron: Legendary Defender highschool AU. Perspective changes based on who would be best suited for each chapter.

After a routine mission goes awry, Keith and Lance are forced to reconcile with their feelings for each other in a heartfelt struggle to get them back safe to their friends.

Who knew five cadets, way too curious for their own good and trying to save an officer who had long been thought dead after a mission to Kerberos, would end up galaxies away with unfamiliar constellations in the dark empty space. Now, the six of them learn about the dangers that had been undiscovered by their home, and now it's their job to save the whole universe from their wrath. But one. One is out of place, a member not needed. Sure, his friends care about him, his caretaker included, but with everyone having a role and him having none? He couldn't help but feel like he's needed elsewhere. With his own secrets and a missing piece that needs to be found, he finds himself distancing and soon leaving his friends. So, this story is a Voltron Fanfiction. My first one actually. The characters include Lance, Keith, Pidge, Shiro, Hunk, Romelle, Coran, Allura, and Matt. Krolia and maybe Shay (?) will be in there too but that will be later on in the story. OwO ☆☆☆ The story takes places on Christmas Eve, on December 24 and at 10:00 p.m. On this day, the Voltron team are at a Christmas Eve party roaming around and having fun.

When Pidge and Lance team up for a ground mission and end up in face-to-face with Prince Lotor and his general Ezor, they expect certain death. They certainly don't expect a truth spell potion to the face. And thus ushers in a spell that brings a month of team annoyances, dangerously loose tongues and romantic revelations that Pidge and Lance never really believed existed. The Paladins of Voltron are joined by Princess Allura on a mission to retrieve an artifact on a planet that reminds the Paladins of Earth. The planet is full of traps, the biggest one being that the water, if touched, would put you into a sleep-like trance and give you vivid dreams of your truest desires. But Keith doesn't know what his truest desires are, and when he is forced to go into the water, he has a dream that he might not awake from. Can Lance get him to come back to reality and face the fact that they both are in love with one another? DISCLAIMER: This was written way before Allura was revealed to be a "teenager." As such, the discourse has discouraged me from liking Shallura, even though part of me doesn't believe Allura is a teen since she looks and acts older than Keith, Lance, and Hunk (who are 16/17). A few weeks have passed since the landing, and Lance isn't as happy as he thought he'd be. He was overjoyed to have reunited with his family, but now that things have settled down, he's back to being invisible, by the rest of the team's standards. Keith is now living with his mother, who is helping him find a better home than a broken-down shack in the desert. He begins to take notice of Lance's decreasing mood. This is just a fluffy klance/klangst story I've been thinking about for a while. I hope it's enjoyable!
