Five teenagers, pulled from the rigid halls of Earth's elite space training program known as the Galaxy Garrison, never expect their lives to fracture into legend. The mission should have been simple. It was a get in-get out situation. Keith had done them an uncountable number of times before, this one shouldn't have been different. It should have run like clockwork. Yet; there he was. Passed out cold and covered in oozing cuts and bruises. Merely a skeleton of someone Keith cared dearly for. Keith didn't understand why he was there. How long had he been strapped to this table, fed through a tube and slowly dying? Why hadn't the rest of the team told Keith he was missing? Most importantly, how was he meant to get him out of there and back to the Castle without being caught? And why, once he wakes, can't Lance remember anything?

One Straight hit to Voltron causes it to disband. All of the lions are separated with broken communicators. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years passed and Katara and her brother, Sokka, discovered the new Avatar, an Airbender named Aang. He was the only one that could save the world. He ended the war a year later, therefore restoring peace to the three remaining nations. After ending the war, Aang and his friends, Katara, Sokka, Toph, Zuko, Suki, and Mai, went to reside in their old home in Ba Sing Se. Years passed and the cycle of Avatars continued with a waterbender named Korra. She and her friends balanced the spirit world and the physical world. Soon, the circle once again continued. Now a new threat threatens the nations, and the Avatar needs to be found.

POV: Post war Keith comes back to earth pretty hurt from a blade of mamora humitarian mission. Lance realises that he can't afford to lose Keith as well, that it would hurt even more than losing Allura did, and discovers the feelings for him that he'd denied himself all along. Lance doesn't want Keith to leave his side ever again. He takes the leap of faith and confesses. OR: Post war, Keith gets hurt badly on a mission and Lance realises he can't lose him too, maybe, perhaps, in fact, not at all. They're both stupid and stubborn and lay everything out and open onto the table. OR OR: they confess their undying feelings for each other after being in denial and hiding it for years

During a battle against the Galra, Keith gets captured in an attempt to save Lance's life. He's brought to one of the Galra's many bases where they will stop at nothing to learn everything about Voltron. Lance blames himself for Keith's disappearance and will stop at nothing to get him back, but he has problems of his own and soon they might prove to be more than he can handle alone.
