Winter is a girl who was sent on a mission to Kerberos, one of Pluto's moons. Her mission served as a second attempt for the Garrison after Shiro and his crew went missing. Unfortunately, the same fate befell her team. It's been months since that incident, and she has long forgotten what happened to her except for a few details. Winter crash-landed on a remote planet, and her spacecraft took heavy damage. While trying to fix it, the Paladins find her. Will Winter join Team Voltron? Will she be able to convince the Paladins she isn't on the Galra's side? What secrets does she have? And why does the Black Paladin seem so familiar to her...? ----------------------------------- I do not claim to own any Voltron Legendary Defender characters, settings, or terminology. I only own original characters, races, settings, and story, as I will not follow the plot of the show. I have created my own version of the Voltron universe to better fit my story. I will use information and plot elements from Voltron, but that is where the similarities end. This story is another universe of Legendary Defender almost entirely. The creature fell to the deck with a wet smack as the net dropped suddenly, splattering water onto the wooden boards and across the toes of Chyra's leather boots. She flinched at the sound as the beast hissed, flipping itself over and around within the confines of the net. It turned to face her, startlingly grey eyes wide and full of terror. Her heart gave a painful twist. His right arm was hopelessly entangled in the net. The limb was ensnared with the wiry cords, cutting off circulation and leaving angry marks on his skin where the ropes rubbed, and despite the merman's strong outward appearance, he looked terrified. Being trapped on a pirate ship would do that to a person, whether they had fins or not.

Two years is a long time. Especially when you've finally met your supposedly dead mother, adopted a space wolf, and have nowhere to go and nothing to do but catch up. That's the position Keith is in. Basically just one shots exclusively for Keith and Krolia (plus Kosmo!) Grammar corrections are appreciated but don't be rude. They do not have any chronological order nor do they line up perfectly with the show. All characters belong to Dreamworks.
