This is volume 2 of the short stories in the Dream Girl series. It's written in third-person perspective.

A young boy born to a broken family. His father died a few months before he was born, and his mother died in childbirth. His only true family is his grandfather, Gonkoji, a man whom Akane has never met. He only knows of him from the checks he sends every month so Akane can keep her own place. Akane is a "Black Listed" school punk hated by the police but loved by the citizens of Honoji Village as he protects them. He must face adversity to keep the ones he cares about safe, will young Akane succeed? Read on to find out!

Tri and Edmond are slowly building up their teamwork, only for a new Phantom User makes the scene. However this one has a deep connection to Tri, as an old hardened friend goes after him to get his revenge. At the same time another new Phantom user appears with mysterious motives as more and more Phantoms make their appearance. All the while the Wraiths make their moves in the shadows watching as everything unfolds.
