It's going to hurt, you are going to bleed, but you are never going to stop chasing your dreams. - This is the story of my journey in the Fire service, all of the writing is based on true events that have happened in the span of my servitude. - My name is Kendra, I started my journey in the summer of 2019, I had just turned twenty in mid-July. Thinking back, my decision was based on the fact that I wanted to dedicate my life to something bigger than myself. I always considered myself a tough girl, a bit of a tomboy but nonetheless a go-getter with a restless soul. When I was born, I had been brought into this world through C-section, and faced many challenges throughout my childhood. Challenges that involved me struggling with a mild form of osteogenesis imperfecta, otherwise known as a brittle bone disorder. I was a bit reckless even still. I don't remember much of my childhood that didn't involve a broken bone or two. Throughout the span of my almost twenty-one years on this earth, I have broken at least fifteen bones, however those are just the ones I vividly remember. I am currently 4'9" in height, and as you may have realized, a women. Somehow, with all the odds stacked against me, I decided to finally start writing my own story. - I decided to create this series as a way to track my progress and as a mental review as to why I wanted to start this endlessly rewarding adventure.

This is now a book of randomness, and short stories. And I update this one whenever I feel like it, because this is a book of randomness, not predictability.
