Baiardo: beautiful one day, full of intrigue the next. Juliet Carlsen is taking some much needed time out in the tiny northern Italian village of Baiardo where she hopes to find peace and quiet and perhaps some perspective after years of caring for her terminally ill mother. The sunshine, serenity and general sense of ‘la dolce vita’ are weaving their magic; the attentions of a handsome, if hot tempered, architect named Luca don’t hurt either. Enter Vincent Kelvin Bone, a widely known junkie who went against every single thing Luke believed in. Luke knew to stay far away from the soon-to-be-next-teenage-tragedy-case, and stay away he did! But when Luke stumbles upon a scene surrounding the drug abuser displaying a side he never knew about, his whole world is annihilated from the inside as Luke begins to realize not everything is all black and white.

Lights, Camera, and Wickets! 🏏🎬 The Actors Cricket Bash was a one-of-a-kind experience for the IISM Sports Management students who volunteered at the event for about 8 days. The tournament, a fusion of cricket and entertainment 🏏, features actors, influencers, and creators who promote fitness 💪 through participating in friendly cricket matches. Assisting in the event not only gave the students an insider overview of the work responsibilities 🧐 but also prepared them for gala sporting events. IISM is proud to be the Official Knowledge Partner 🤝 for the 5th Khelo India University Games 2025 Rajasthan, where our students are actively contributing behind the scenes 🎬 to make one of India's biggest university sporting events a phenomenal success. From GTCC (Games Technical Conduct Committee) and University Coordination to Volunteer Management, Sports Presentation, Spectator Management, Venue Operations, Venue Overlays & Brandings, Sports Kits, TSR (Time, Scoring & Results), and Accreditation, IISM students are gaining hands-on experience 🙌 alongside industry experts. Volunteering in the Mukono District Uganda is an opportunity to work with grass roots projects in rural Uganda. This is a rural community, with dirt roads that turn to sticky mud in the rainy season and dust in the dry season. Boda- Boda bikes share the road with bicycles and animals. As in most parts of Uganda, the community members struggle to meet their basic needs and strive to put their children in school. Main jobs include brick making, selling fruits and vegetables, small scale animal rearing and other manual labor jobs. As a volunteer in this program, you will experience traditional Ugandan life and participate in daily activities such as visiting elderly villagers, construction and building, teaching children in outside classrooms, assisting in the setting up vegetable gardens, youth health talks, high school English teaching, feeding animals as well as health outreach programs and so many other activities. These programs serve the most vulnerable community members in Mukono District. The main focus is providing education and healthcare to hundreds of children and poor dwellers in the surrounding villages. A village school provides English, Math, health lessons to children 3yrs-14yrs old. The school provides not only needed education but opportunities for sports activities, health talks, feeding center and meeting place for the community. The community development projects including pig and poultry house construction and repairs, home repairs, health/HIV/AIDS workshops, youth education, animal rearing, water and sanitation (including well and waterway construction) and project planning and management or other skills that can help us transform this community With our volunteer program we allow you to discover the wonders of rural Uganda, while doing meaningful and rewarding community work. This is a great opportunity to explore life in rural Uganda, live and work amongst the locals and realize one person can make a difference.

IISM's students got the privilege of working in the G.O.A.T India Tour event as football's royalty & 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐 𝐅𝐈𝐅𝐀 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐂𝐮𝐩 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢 🇦🇷 arrived at the 𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦 in Mumbai 🏟️. Our young & dynamic Sports Management professionals were proactively involved in handling stadium operations, as part of TCM Platform's team. On the learning front, working to do crowd management at such a large scale event was a golden opportunity ✨ for our students. Such valuable exposure will go a long way in their journey to becoming leading sports events managers. IISM students experienced a historic moment ✨ as the HYROX APAC Fitness Race 🏃‍♂️ took place in India 🇮🇳 for the first time. With over 1,600 participants from around the world, Hyrox showcased strength 💪, stamina endurance, and spirit. Nearly 77 IISM Sports Management students were right in the middle of the action, gaining invaluable hands-on experience 🤝. Volunteering alongside global athletes and fitness professionals, our students played key roles in ensuring smooth operations, athlete support, and event execution. Nami Patil, a first-year Bachelor of Sports Management (FYBSM) student, shared her experience: "I had the opportunity to volunteer at the first-ever Hyrox Racing event held in India. It was an incredible experience 🤩 to witness the dedication and high fitness levels of the participating athletes. Overall, it was a high-energy event ⚡ that gave me valuable exposure to international fitness standards."
