Based on Critical Role, this is a telling of how the DM is involved in the world of Exandria and is a possible telling of how Vox Machina embarked upon their adventures as shown in the streamed games of Dungeon and Dragons shown every Thursday night on Geek and Sundry. Some knowledge of either Critical Role or the Tal'dorei Campaign setting may be necessary. Do note the chapter Final Role contains spoilers from throughout Campaign 1 from episode 24 onwards. All copyrights remain to their respective owners (Wizards of the Coast, Paizo, Matthew Mercer and the Critical Role cast and crew; cover art@mikandii) but other writers are welcome to build upon any part of this series.

So this a book I plan on publishing piece meal over a period of time. I'm a fan of TTRPG, and in reflection of that, I will publish it a "session" at a time. For those who are unfamiliar with TTRPG, every night you meet up with everyone is a session where you guys go over a portion of a chapter within the campaign. So instead of promising a whole chapter at a time I will try and publish a "session" at a time. Other than those things I hope you guys enjoy it and even though the publication of these sessions might be somewhat sporadic I will do my best to be involved in the comments and respond when appropriate. If anything else comes to mind I'll put it here in the notes! Hope you guys like the story!

(Y) was the only surviving De'Rolo of that night as he ran from Whitestone. he was captured and torture by atlas for 2 years until he escaped killing 5 atlas guards, 8 scientists, and one government official. after he ran he made 2 guns a long range and a short/mid range he has a bounty of 10,000,000 yen.... will (Y) be able to get his revenge on the Briarwoods or will he be gunned down by atlas.... only one way to find out

But as consciousness fades, a danger looms, guiding her unwittingly into a nightmare that she cannot wake from. Can Keyleth escape the trap her fears have created? Or will she be stranded in her own mind forever? Read to find out! This fanfic was heavily influenced by Isaac Crutchfield's ideas on the Facebook group "Critical Role Fan Club". He gets most of the credit for this. I just expanded a little. I have placed it occuring in the year break that VM took before episode 95. As such spoilers from then back are implicit in the story. You have been thouroughly warned. :)

Time has passed since Vox Machina defeated the Chroma Conclave and banished Vecna. But though these evils have been defeated, there still remain perils in the world. Whitestone has been receiving reports of bandits operating from the Parchwood Timberlands and which have so far been evading capture by the Grey Hunt. This story is loosely inspired by @blueflameknight's tlovm story "Misfits" One day, at a tavern, Vox Machina encounters a young, masked kid. They find that this kid is a skilled fighter, so they ask the kid to join them. However, Percy can't shake the feeling that he's met this kid before... None of the art belongs to me, and neither does The Legend of Vox Machina

***SPOILERS THROUGH EPISODE 97*** ................................................................ A misjudged distance and timing on Keyleth the Druid's part leads to her breif but real death. Revivified by Vex'ahlia, she returns to life as the party begins to return to Whitestone. This is the story of Vax'ildan coming to grips with what happened and his discussion with Keyleth shortly after her accident. Credit goes to the Critical Role cast and crew for the original characters and story arcs. This is a head cannon I thought up while watching the episode. I also do not own the cover art used. Credit to the brilliant artist who must like #Vaxleth almost as much as I do. Anyway, enjoy the story!
