Rain gets shot and is killed while on her way home with her dad. That's right. She's dead. But she comes back after meeting a handsome stranger, who, if he wasn't so persistent with her moving on, with she would gladly spend the rest of her life with. She realizes that fate brought them together, and she ripped them apart. She goes out of the cottage, and wakes up in a hospital. Doctors say she is a NDE. But she knows better. She really did die, and see what would have happened if she chose to stay dead. Instead she fights fate, and comes back. Only to realize that if fate doesn't want them together, they wouldn't have met.
