The Vulcans are isolating themselves from the UFOP, and Troi and Riker are alone on Vulcan to deal with the social and political consequences. Meanwhile, the Enterprise is facing its captains greatest fear: The Borg. Can the Doctor help to save them all? Portals, kidnappers, tribbles, raccoons, in-laws, and more pose challenges for absent-minded neurodivergent psychologist Shara and her wife, vigilant martial arts instructor Selar. The two aim to understand humans, support each other, and (hardest of all) stay safe. While these stories take place in the Star Trek universe, they are written like general sci-fi to be accessible to the average reader. Both Trek lovers and non-fans are welcome to read! (Note: This story is tagged "autism" because while Vulcans would have different conditions than humans do, Shara's condition resembles autism. The author is autistic.)

I felt my heart beat speed up as I walked through the corridor and towards my future. I held my breath as I stopped in front of the door and waited for entry inside. Soon the door opened and I slowly walked inside to see six Vulcan's looking down at me. I bowed my head and waited for them to speak. "Maria, youngest to ever apply for the Vulcan Science Academy." He said calmly. "You are... fifteen and believe you have what it takes to join." Another said calmly. "It is only logical for you to join of course. I must say you have made much progress, even with your disadvantage." "And what disadvantage would you be implying?" I asked calmly. "Your half breed of a father, of course." He said as he looked down at me. "Ministers, I must decline." I said softly. "Why did you come to only decline? Was it to satisfy your need to rebel?" "No, I had wanted to join, but I can not join a race that is so cruel and prejudice that they think it is a disadvantage to feel, good day ministers." I said as I turned and walked out of the room. I stopped at the door and turned and sent them a smile. "Live long and prosper." I said before I turned and walked away. I made my way to my house and let out a sigh as I saw my mother waiting outside. I walked up to her and went to talk, only to be met with a hard smack to the face. "How dare you disrespect your father!?" She yelled. "I only did what I believed was right." "You have tainted our name! Go back to them and beg for forgiveness!" "No! I will not beg them for anything! I am not a child mother and I will not be treated as such. I did what I thought right, and you must learn to live with that." "Either apologize or leave, I don't want your father here to see what a disappointment you are." "Fine, I'll do what you ask." I said as I turned and walked away. I felt tears threaten to stream down my face as I walked away from the only home I had ever known.

With both Captain Kirk and Lt. Uhura in mind-wiped comas, Spock must commit high treason, risk war with the Klingon and Romulan empires, and put the entire crew of the Enterprise in jeopardy to travel back in time to undo the tragic encounter with the Bonrathee Bear on Divinia V that led to Kirk's and Uhura's near destruction. But first he needs to rescue Dr. McCoy from his addiction to Dreamtax, a powerful hallucinogen that's about to end the doctor's life. An earlier version of RESET was a finalist for the Star Trek Strange New Worlds II anthology, but didn't make the final cut.

The year is 2154, the United Nations of Earth has successfully overcome many crises, including the Xindi and the Augments. Under the command of Captain Archer, the Enterprise explores space again and makes contact with other civilizations. But a new crisis is coming, a crisis that brings the United Nations to the brink of war with the Orion Syndicate. This story takes place after the reboot series. Spock is suffering from PTSD; after witnessing the death of his poor mother, Kirk's and Pike's. His T'hy'la James T Kirk will stop at nothing to help and comfort him. This story takes place in AOS but the date is not long after Beyond, so it takes place around 2263-2264. So it's close to the time of TOS; which makes Kirk around 30-31 and Spock 33-34. I do not own Star Trek I'm not Gene Roddenberry or JJ Abrams. Art/images are from online like deviantart.
