Vincent van de Wier is a man defined by secrets. A high-ranking Dutch diplomat to the world, he is internally a map of scars-the survivor of a childhood stolen by the manipulative Leonna de Jong and a past stained by the blood of his parents. Vincent carries a heavy, miraculous burden: a gift passed down from his mother that ensures whoever he romantically loves will have their deepest desires come true. But for Vincent, this power has been a curse, attracting those who wish to exploit him rather than know him. After decades of heartbreak, betrayal, and the presumed death of his first wife, Anouk van Bardeleven, Vincent has finally found a fragile peace. In the arms of the gentle Vera Ramírez, he has built the life he never thought possible: a home filled with laughter, the quiet joy of being seen for who he is. But in the height of his profound happiness with Vera, disaster returns. As the ghosts of his past resurface and the weight of his "gift" begins to fracture his reality, Vincent must face a devastating truth: some wounds are so deep they remain invisible until they begin to bleed again. In a world of hidden traumas and magical debts, can Vincent finally step out of the shadows, or is he destined to vanish into the pain of those he loves? This is the ninth installment in the Family series, taking place in the Netherlands with frequents visits to Portugal. It is recommended for readers aged 15 and older due to mature themes.

Skin, Ink, and Promises is a raw and intimate collection of poems that traces the emotional landscapes of youth-the triumphs, heartbreaks, and quiet moments of self-discovery that define the teenage years. Each page pulses with vulnerability, honesty, and the weight of first loves, secret confessions, and fleeting promises that linger like ink on skin. Stephanie invites readers into a world where every word matters, where emotions are painted in soft yet powerful strokes, and where the messy beauty of growing up is celebrated. From whispered thoughts in late-night journals to the unspoken feelings hidden behind smiles and laughter, this collection is a mirror for anyone who has ever navigated love, loss, friendship, and the search for identity. With minimalistic elegance and piercing emotional insight, Skin, Ink, and Promises is more than a book of poetry-it's a companion for anyone daring to feel deeply, live honestly, and fall in love again and again, with the world and with themselves. This is not all. I'm not done. Its only the beginning.

Poems that's are a description for times that I've been down and times that I've lost touch with myself. Not only do I want to share this, but I want to not hold on to my past. I hope you enjoy these poems.
