For as long as I can remember, something always seemed to be up with my parents. Its like they were afraid of saying something, weather rit was too much on a certain subject or not enough- I just always felt like I was missing something. Although it wasn't until I was 17 that I realised what it was. I always felt as if I was treated differently to my older brothers-and it wasn't because I was a girl. Fractured Hearts is a compelling tale of self-discovery, unexpected connections, and the beauty of stepping out of your comfort zone. Iris, an introverted high school senior, finds herself on a tropical island vacation with her polished mother and an unlikely travel companion-Liam, the school's golden boy. What begins as an awkward and reluctant trip evolves into a journey of vulnerability, late-night confessions, and a romance neither of them saw coming. Against the backdrop of sunsets and bonfires, Iris learns that love, like people, is layered and often hides where you least expect it. Will this week of new beginnings lead to forever-or just a fleeting summer memory?

She first noticed him through a screen. There was this educational program he posted about a few months before she decided to visit his country, and she wanted to join, but he didn't reply. Days, weeks ,months, passed, and she had forgotten all about it and thought he's probably busy and will never respond to a common person like he. She then followed him and, over time, started seeing his stories on IG and then his hard work. She likes the fact that he is dedicated to feminist and champion for girls' rights and youth empowerment, and that's something she would like to do in the future. She was trying to find herself and left her country and when to his country not with the intention of meeting him but fate has a way of doing things. After a few months on vacation, while on Instagram, she saw a reply that made her glad. Larry: Hello to the girl who just admires my work for my country. 😊 Alexa:Guilty as charged 😂. But can you blame me for admiring a man who handles his work so well?
